Anyone play this? I picked it up with the system and wow. Vibrant color, good texturing. I'm impressed how the mechanics were left quite intact. A tiny gameplay difference I've found is you don't fall off ladders after pausing. It was interesting to lack slide or charged shots like the NES original, I'm used to that from later sequels. The addition of cutscenes was welcome. They give an improved sense of plot growth.

More so, contact with PSP makes several of standard DS's (I haven't tried a Lite) questionable design choices stand out. The unit feels much easier to hold in my hands. Probably because of it's round edges instead of square-ish. It also doesn't seem as heavy, the size/weight distribution is better. On the software side, I noticed various developers have been reluctant to use the DS's equally nice horsepower. Fun or not, sudoku isn't dependant on 3D capabilities. Why does PSP have such a large quantity of used games -not counting music or movies- on the open market? Pawn shops, Blockbuster, and even my local game store find it hard to get anything for DS in stock.

I suppose the only problem now is Sony's $199 package has no memory stick! I can't save, view photos, etc, without one. Whatever. I'll likely look into Maverick Hunter X soon. Mega Man side scrollers are nice.

Megaman was one of the positive aspects of actually having a PSP. If the system wasn't cost prohibitive I would get one just for that reason.

I hear this game has a level editor feature. And that you can share your levels though wifi with other PSP owners. Is it any good/fun/easy to use?

If I were ever to get a PSP, I would probably check this game out, if indeed the level editor feature is cool.

If I had a PSP, that would be one of the few games I would want. It just looks excellent and Capcom really outdid themselves, it seems.

There's plenty of levels out there, I think... probably some great and many bad.
