You crack me up, sir.
You should start to run around the house and up and down the stairs and then see what happens to your pulse. Maybe you can make it go 300 beats per second oooh. |

Gotta wonder how high his blood pressure is at that kind of rate.

It's better now, though. This has happened before, and I've learned a trick to get it to go back to normal. My pulse is steady right now. (edited by Alastor the Stylish on 12-08-05 10:23 PM) |

Could be some weird type of irregular heartbeat. :\ My heart rate/pulse is fairly stable and I only notice a difference if I'm running for the bus/etc. Obviously.

I don't even know what my normal heartrate is. It was pretty damn fast for awhile, though that may be due to, you know, the cancerous mass in my chest that was pushing against it.
Since I started DDRing and working out, I think it's gone down significantly, but I don't know for sure. Hey Rydain, you're something of a fitness buff, correct? Can you tell me how a heart monitor works? Like do you just put it on your wrist or what? RANDOM FUN FACT: 5-time Tour de France champ Miguel Indurain had a resting heart rate of under 30BPM in his prime. No, that's not a typo. |

Reminds me that I actually planned to visit jizuko once, but never did. He kinda lived close to Trapster. Well, around 50 KM or so north of him.
...none figured out the thread title? There's not enough nerds. |

Eh. I already know what I have, Traps. There are many, many doctors in my family ;;
Supraventricular tachycardia. Since that's probably gibberish to you, look it up on wikipedia or something Mostly harmless. Generally goes away on its own after a short time, and pretty easy to get rid of if it doesn't. |

"Ventricular tachycardia has to be treated appropriately, since it can quickly degenerate to ventricular fibrillation and death."
Lucky you didnīt have that one. My neighbor at home has heart problems too but I donīt know what kind. (edited by Ran-chan on 12-09-05 07:57 AM) |

Eww. Lava ruins the fun. It's only good when you boil nacho cheese to a pointlessly hot temperature and then toss them in that.
