Once, I got sent to the principal's office for opening the Excel 2000 easter egg that loads up the "Spy Hunter" like game in the middle of class.

That really isn't an interesting or funny story, really. What would've been interesting and funny is if the computer exploded, and someone's head bursted into flames. |

Just had an earthquake. At first, I thought it was some giant truck driving by. It took me a few seconds to realize what it was, and I was a bit stunned. It first started out like a truck as I said, and gradually got bigger. It suddenly stopped at some point. I'm actually still a bit shaky, since my imagination ran wild. Things probably would've been better if I were walking in the hallway, so I crash into a few walls or fall. That'd be funny. What the funny thing was is that for about half of the 'quake, I was playing Dragon Quest VIII.

Once I got detention in high school for putting a virus onto the school network. The only problem was that the virus was ALREADY on the network and I was one of the few people that knew about it because nobody bothered to install AV software on any of them even though they knew it was important.
My parents actually found the whole thing hilarious. |

I was going door to door for my church, back when I was really into that stuff. I was walking down a path, and ran into a cactus. Huge group of needles stuck in my knee. Most were small and were pulled out easily. There was one that was as big around as a dime. That hurt like a mofo.

One time I thought I saw a cockroach in my basement. I freaked out and sprayed it with that spray stuff you use to kill insects. The next day I saw another one standing next to the dead one. I went after it with the spray, but it got away. One of these days though...it'll be back...and I WILL have my revenge...*evil laughter*
(Turns out they were water bugs or something) |

You know what I would've done? If I had a lot of time and was bored, I'd tape a knife to a long stick and try to stab one. If I wanted a quick kill, I'd find a mallet or something that can easily smash it. Or maybe a baseball bat...

Not really funny, but neat: When I was two, I was shown how one electrical outlet was wired, and then showed my grandfather (the electrician for us) how to wire every other outlet in the house - correctly.

I once jumped out a second-floor window. It looked like a pretty short fall to the ground, so I tossed a few pillows out and went for it. I expected to fall for about 4 seconds, so when 4 seconds had passed and I wasn't even past the first floor window, I thought "oh crap...". It hurt.
Originally posted by Heh, my school actually had me remove a virus from the network. Except they didn't give me admin access, so I couldn't actually do anything to remove it. (I didn't know enough about hacking back then to get it myself. ) Another time their website got hacked, and they came to pull me out of class and suspend me for it... only to find I wasn't even in class because I was home sick in bed that day. Oh, and one more... a few years ago my mom got a call from the police saying they had me arrested for drugs, and because I was 19 I would be going to jail... only problem being I was at school and only 15. Turns out they had the wrong name. O_o |

When I was little, my family and I went camping by the beach. There were these huge cliffs we had to climb down to get to the water, though, and I was too afraid to do it. So I just sat at the top of the cliff waiting for them all to return. By myself.
Needless to say, I soon became terrified of being by myself (I was like 6), started crying, and eventually I got so worked up I peed my pants. And then sat there in it waiting for my family to get back. My mom... almost threw me off the cliff when she saw me. One time I was at work, and nobody was there at the moment. Then this guy comes in and starts asking me questions -- like, "are you comfortable talking to complete strangers?" and "am I making you feel uncomfortable talking to you like this, when I should be ordering something?" Then two women came in, to actually order something, and his face turned ghost white and he bolted out the door. What's up with that? |

Originally posted by Danielle Someone was out for some loli goodness One time when I was starting to work nights, and trying to get used to it, this lady from a european country appeared out of freaking nowhere while I was waiting for the bus, and started bombarding me with "are you proud to be an american?" "why aren't you protesting about the atrocities at guantanimo bay?" etc etc. For starters, I hadn't slept in almost 30 hours, political debate isn't in my vocabulary, not to mention I'm far from active in politics anyway, I don't even freaking watch TV (which, by the way, she tried to use against me). Anyway, I eventually found out that she was a reporter. At that I rolled my eyes and disregarded anything she said after that, even the low blows (hard hitting, pfft). She just wanted to hear herself talk and make a witty comeback or two. She had that glazed over look that brainwashed people often do, that was kinda creepy (and further hurt her credibility) |
