| Yeah,. I got Mario Kart DS over the weekend, and tried to coenct to Nintendo WFC. the problem is, every time I try to connect to the WFC through Rivals mode (which is supposed to give me someone at my skill level, isn't it?), I end up getting people who are halfway around the course from me after the first lap, which kills all enjoyment for me (I don't mind losing, I DO mind losing when I didn't have a chance in the first place).
So, My friend code is 309313 098993. IF there's anyone who is good, but doesn't consider themselves greatr, please let me know, I'd like to have a fair race with someone for once, not a one-sided race. And if there's a thread for this already I couldn't find, please let me know and close thsi thread. |

I feel the same way in races. I guess its this "snaking" business. I can do it, its just annoying on both sides of it to even bother. I will add you sometime tomorrow, since I am about to sleep. In the mean time, here is my code:

| Thanks. Personally, I dn't like Snakers... but maybe that's just because I'm not good at it.
I have this one guy though - he somehow skipped from behind me to halfway round the track ahead of me in <1 second 
How the hell did he do that?! anyways, thanks for letting me know your friend code. |

| There's certain points that if you hit them. The game puts you in the wrong place. I've see this in a Grand Prix once. I beat the CPU by over a whole lap. >>
If your looking for a Three-Star ranker who doesn't snake. Well, There's me. (309.299.722.371) I played Contintal before, I was able to beat a few snakers. My item accuracy seems to be falling now.. Was about 90%, seems more like 70% now. But, yeah. XD |

| I don't know if you'd like to race me; I tend to snake, but not very often. Usually all of Figure 8 Circuit and wide straight-aways. But, then again, there are times when I fail doing a string, and if I do, I'll lose a great deal of speed as Yoshi. I'd like to see how other people react to me, since I've only played one person who I'm in contact with: My sister.
Two star ranking average in all GP races; I'm just missing all of Nirto GP in 150cc Mirror. As for time trials, I've beaten all the Staff ghosts. However, I usually beat them by about a second. I would post my friend code, but I don't have the USB connector thing, nor do I have a connection better than dial-up. I try to avoid snaking unless it's a truly desperate situation. Like if it's the last lap, and I'm not in 1st, I'll try snaking. Once you get 1st in a certain amount of GP races, you'll unlock karts, and characters will be able to use others' karts. I used to have Bowser in Mario's Shooting Star, for example. |

| It's based on winning/losing on Wi-Fi and VS. People may also have done lots of GP races, but got worse ranks than you. At least I think that's how it works. | |||

| I just got my DS a couple days ago, and I'd be glad to race pretty much anyone. I pretty much can't snake at all without sliding off-road and losing time, so if you don't like snakers don't worry about me doing it. My friend code is in my signature, or I'll repost it here for quick reference:

Managed it a couple of times... mostly on Rainbow Road though  If I can get you on that, you aren't snaking (unless you want to fall off )... and as long as I don't fall off or get blue shelled on the last section, I've got a pretty good chance at winning... at least, that's how it's played out for me... |

Near impossible... 
My friends, in 200 races, only beat me once (I snake). Thats because they all got blue shells and fired them off in perfect timing... Then there were red shells...
Not to mention the banana the made me slide off the edge. Im not going to get into the "OMG SNAKRZ GO DEI" argument again. All I know is that if you snake, Ill snake. If you dont, Ill try my hardest to go easier on you. |

| I nearly beat a snaker on Delfino Square: I got lucky enough to get two sets of triple mushrooms and took the small cut-through near the end of the course both times. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a third set of mushrooms to keep up on the final lap. |

| I snake only when my opponent snakes like KATW does.
However, if I'm playing in a tournament, I'll snake whether my opponent does or not.  |
