Well, you could look into hyposensitisation immunotherapy as a possible solution -- they vaccinate you against progressively larger doses of your allergen -- either reducing or (practically) eliminating the problem (depending on the problem / your body / etc). They don't cure the allergy, but they dramatically improve things.

I've also noted with my own allergies that you can build up a "tolerance" to things through exposure -- ie, when I live with my mother and her dogs, I become more tolerant with regards to my allergy to pet dander. My asthma doesn't get triggered by it, I don't break out in itchiness or sneezing so much, etc. If however I don't see any dogs or cats for months, it will revert to normal again.

The only thing I'm allergic to is pollen. Nothing edible, though. However, for some reason, water sometimes makes be throw up... O_o

I can't imagine being lactose intolerant or having a milk allergy; I drink tons of that stuff a day, all whole milk. Unhealthy? Probably, but I'm not all that interested in living forever.

I'm allergic to certain types of grass pollen and to cats. It's a pity, because I like cats better than dogs, but I just can't be around them for long periods of time. It gets too hard to breathe.

Lactose intolerant? That's too bad. How can you enjoy cereal without milk!?
Oh well. Guess you'll just have to stick to soy products.

I have good news and bad news, guys.

The good news is that as it turns out, Soy milk tastes so much better than regular milk it's just awesome.

The bad news is that xpCynic totally fails.

Yeah, I was gonna say. Regular milk sucks. I have no allergies but prefer soymilk and veggie burgers for the TASTE.

Screw you, cows!
