You should not be so cynical. They didn't even show anything from the actual movie.

I'll see it if Corey Feldman does the voice of Donatello and/or Elias Koteas plays Casey Jones. Nevermind; I'm seeing regardless. I still watch the first movie every couple weeks. I mean I grew up with the Turtles so I can't abandon now them even though the new cartoon an both new games are awful. I was there to see all three Turtles movies in the theatre.

Ok, there was a fourth turtles movie which involved a female turtle but I doubt that qualifies as being a real movie; No one else ever saw it.

That was a show on Fox kids, not a movie. By the way. When I use a download manager to get the trailers, I only recive a file 133 bytes long. Anyone else have this problem?

but get this, here is my script pitch.

in the world of the late 90s a strange new technology arose. something called the MESSAGE BOARD. it grew, like a virus. soon it implemented the power of the quote so that people can make obscure statements that are fairly indefinite and vague while directly referring to a specific comment to refer to.

so you can see...our conversation is visible to other posters. yours could be interpreted easily otherwise.

Anyways, the movie looks sweet. I'd seen the trailer just before this thread came out. I'm quite excited.

I'll definitely watch the movie, since I too grew up watching the old turtles cartoon. I still watch the new
cartoon sometimes, but it airs at a time I'm usually studying. I'm going to buy the dvd (pirated ), works out cheaper than going out.

I believe what Kyouji means is that its more akin to the original comic books than the first cartoon.

and honestly, i dunno about this movie. It could be good.

The new cartoon could be better if it had a much better opening song, shredder wasn't just a fucking stupid plot twist*, and much more pizza.

As for the new movie, the turtles porportions at first made me think they looked weird, but then I realized they are TEENAGE mutant ninja turtles.

The current cartoon is based directly off the comic books, though he is a human in the comics, but is killed, cloned, becomes a shark and is finally finished off. The few liberties taken still annoy me. There is a difference between being either a clone or an extraterrestrial *winks*. The only thing I liked is that leo's head chop was preserved ;P
