Edit:That isnt free,it asks me to register online, and an activation code.If I restart my pc will those adwares be gone too? And by restart I mean cleaning the pc compleatly by putting the restart disc.

Yes, if you back up all your files, and then repartition your drive, those viruses will be gone. Along with everything else on the comptuer, including Windows.

Do you consider yourself tech savvy? If not, you're best off takign your comptuer to the lcoal Repair shop and getting them to fix it up.

Wow .. This is quite bad. Next time, make sure you know exactly what your cousin is doing before things like this happen. Viruses are no joke. :\ But yeah, might want to take it to the repair shop. My friend had viruses and had no choice but to. They can help with taking it out. (While doing that, might want to get an antivirus program of some sort) and also making sure that your computer is up to date.

I thought it was free. I got it free. I will try to find the download file but its hidden or trashed deep into my computer. Don't get your hopes up that I will find it.

Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy have always done the job for me. Throw in some common sense and a browser that isn't IE and you shouldn't even need them again.

IE is't the source of hte problem there

I hooked my win98SE machine up to the internet for a while.. no firewall, antivirus. OR anti-spyware software... didn't catch anything.
