Hooker - Has sex with a person during the night, effectively stopping them from doing anything. If she visits the mafia when they try to kill her, she dies. However, for this to work, you'll have to stop telling whether someone was saved or something else during the night, you just say that nobody was killed. If the Mafia is stopped by her, you inform them personally. Same would apply for the doctor.

Or the insomiac. Can try to listen to the mafia... but can't share what he says with others unless he posts. Not good for his health...

How about making someone the "Godfather"? The Godfather would be part of the Mafia, but if the sheriff asked to identify the Godfather as Mafia, the Godfather would show up as innocent.

That.... is a pretty good idea.

However, if the regular mafia memebers are killed, then they lose... otherwise, it's just not fair.

Mafia:
The main deal. 1-4 in a game (# is chosen by the host), they pick someone to do away with in each round. They should lie, cheat, steal, and kill to get to the top...except for the cheating part. This is a classic character.

Godfather:
The Godfather picks a 'backup' target for the Mafia. This target is used instead of the Mafia's choice if the Doctor, Bodyguard, or Nurse saves the original target. If the Mafia are out, the Godfather carries on in their place by selecting the new targets to kill.

Informant:
On their turn, the Informant picks someone to find out about. Unlike the Sheriff, it tells the target's occupation instead of just a 'yes' or 'no.' The Informant should report to the Mafia and take note of what everyone is. Since they have been seen associating with the Mafia, the cops' records show the Informant as being a member.

Agent:
The Agent works under cover as a cop. Their job is to tamper with official records that state whether or not someone is in the Mafia. On their turn, they must select somebody's record to change from a 'yes' to a 'no', or a 'no' to a 'yes'.

Ninja:
The Ninja has been hired by the Mafia to eliminate its most important targets. The Ninja takes time and care in planning their attacks, but this lost time is easily made up for by their effectiveness. The Ninja goes only once every other round, but their attack counts double, meaning it takes two people to save their victim. The Ninja's stealth and secrecy have allowed them to completely evade the police; there are no police records of their existence and even the Scientists state-of-the-art forensics cannot uncover their trail.

Insider:
The Insider is the opposite of the Mole. On the Mafia's payroll, it's their job to discover who is on the Mafia's trail. Every 2 rounds the Insider will attempt to uncover the name of another cop. The Insider has also tapped into the Police's private signals, allowing the Insider to hear their plans.

Mortician:
The Mortician's love and study of death has lead the Mafia to employ them in their ever-expanding family. On their turn the Mortician uses their knowledge of death to save their fellow Mafia or other people whom they see as being important to their goal. They are also in charge of cleaning the corpses of the Mafia's victims, preventing the Scientist from turning up new clues.

These are the character types that are with the Citizens:

Citizen:
Perhaps the most important people in the game. The Citizens are the suspects, the victims, and the voters. They make up the mass of the group, and the mass of the votes in most rounds, unless the host decides to fill the remaining positions with other types. This is a classic character.

Witness:
The Witness is in the wrong place at the wrong time. They always seem to be around when a killing is attempted. The Witness, however, uses this to their advantage. Each night, the game will tell the Witness one of the targets, the Witness should then report it to the Doctor or Nurse so they can save that person. There is a 10% chance the Witness will not receive a message, and they will not receive a message if they have been targeted.

Judge:
The Judge gives final judgment in the case of a tie. If there is a tie, a box should pop up asking which they wish to eliminate.

FBI Agent:
The FBI Agent works alone, but, like the Sheriff, they use police records to check people. The FBI Agent, however, has a license, nay, an obligation, to kill anybody who is in the Mafia--they will shoot, without question, anyone who checks as a 'yes.'

Sheriff:
The group's only hope at finding out who it is for a fact. The Sheriff picks someone they wants to know about, if that person is a Mafia, then the game will tell the Sheriff 'yes'. If the Mafia kills the Sheriff, you might never find out who it is, you may just have to guess. This is a classic character.

Deputy:
The Deputy is the one sent to make arrests. On their turn, they select someone to 'arrest' for one turn. Until the Deputy's next turn, this character is incapable of performing any actions.

Executioner:
The Executioner gets paid to carry out professional, sterilized, executions. Their turn only takes place if the Deputy has chosen a target the previous round. On this turn, they have the option to kill the person in the Deputy's custody. This person can still be saved by the Doctor and such as usual.

Detective:
The Detective's job is to help keep the players aware of the current situation. When someone dies or is voted off, the game will inform the Detective of what that person was. With this information, the Detective could inform people of the Sheriff's death to prevent the Mafia from taking the Sheriff's identity, or they could tell people when they have successfully voted off one of the Mafia.

Senator:
The Senator represents the Citizens who elected them. Their vote counts double in the voting round. They should find the Sheriff and help them vote out the Mafia, and they should be careful not to vote at random in the voting round, and end up voting off somebody innocent.

Lobbyist:
The Lobbyist has the ability to nullify all of the votes on a specific person. During the voting round, instead of voting for the person they want to get rid of, the Lobbyist votes for the person they don't want to go. Note that they are capable of voting for them self.

Doctor:
An important part of every round, the Doctor picks someone to save each round. It is a common (and very good) strategy to save yourself when you are the Doctor. This is a classic character.

Nurse:
The Nurse is basically like the Doctor, only the Nurse is incapable of tending to their own wounds, and must save someone else on their turn.

Mole:
The Mole has been dragged out of the depths of the criminal underworld, and bribed into assisting the cops in pursuing the Mafia. Every 3 rounds, they may or may not discover the name of one random member.

Vigilante:
Yet another killer, the Vigilante decides to take justice into their own hands. They are on the side of the Citizens but they still kill someone each night in the hopes that this person is in the Mafia. It is a good idea to make use of your skip turn command if you are playing as a Vigilante.

Scientist:
As an expert in forensics of the local crime scene investigation team, the Scientist prides them self on being able to Judge the direction from which the murderer came. After each death there will be a random chance that they will discover which direction the killer came from.

Mercenary:
Every night this person has the opportunity to kill one person. Their target is the Mafia. If they fail to kill a member of the Mafia, and kills a member of the Citizens team the Mercenary will be killed as well. The Mercenary’s target cannot be saved by the Nurse or Doctor.

Bartender:
The Bartender works the most dangerous bar in town. Despite an uncharacteristic drinking problem, the Bartender is an honest person who reports trouble when they see it...and whenever they don't have a hangover. Although the Bartender has seen several murderers making their plans at their bar, they are too drunk to report their identities for several days--the third turn after overhearing.

Psycho:
The Psycho is insane, but worse: they're armed. The Psycho doesn't really trust or care much about anyone else, as long as they remain alive. they kill completely at random, with no discrimination at all between Citizen or Mafia. They also hear voices in their head, letting them in on the plans of others.

Blind Man:
The Blind Man may have lost their sight, but their ears are keener than ever. They are blind throughout the entire game, but their sensitive ears allow them to pick up the direction of even more sensitive activities--in the form of Job-says and whispers.

Mime:
The Mime lives their life in silence, but knows more than people think. Every night they watch everyone's turn...but they can't tell anyone because doing so would break their oath of silence. They can still vote for who it is though...

These are the character types that have win differently:

Rogue:
The Rogue is a former member of the Mafia. The Mafia is after them. The cops are after them. The Rogue kills someone each turn, eventually aiming to be one of the last two people in the game (They take precedence over Mafia, so if the Rogue and one Mafia are left, they win). Because the cops do not know much of the going-ons in the Mafia, their records still show the Rogue as a member.

Bodyguard:
The Bodyguard uses their turn to protect someone. If they pick the Mafia's target, then the Bodyguard will be sacrificed and the Mafia's original target will be given the name of the Mafia (or any other killer) who picked them. For falling in their line of duty, they will be awarded an automatic win on their score even if the Citizens lose.

Hitman:
The Hitman is just doing their job. Their job being to kill a designated target and live to get paid. They has 3 shots at killing the right person after which it no longer matters. If they succeed in killing that person, then all they must do is live until the end (no matter which side wins) and they will receive a win.

Assassin:
The Assassin works like the Hitman, the difference being that an Assassin has only one shot at nailing their target. They should make use of their skip turn command until they are certain of who they should kill. However, they never fail to kill their victim.

Copied and Pasted from the byond game, mafia.

True...but they're good ideas, nonetheless.

Since KATW has already added a person to help in stopping the Mafia, I think in all fairness the other job he adds should help the Mafia in some form or fashion.

Okay... I now have the full list of people who will be characters this round.

Including the ones that we have mentioned, and trapper...

Big Daddy: The leader of the mafia, the number one head honcho. He knows who all of his mafia and thugs are, so he can call in favors whenever he wants. In addition to giving the mafia an additional vote to someone, he has the final say in case of a tie during the night. Also, during the day, he can bring a mafia member, OR a thug to block a bullet for him. (Whichever position it is will not be announced to the public). The last one to fall in every game.

Basically, every night, in addition to giving me a list of names of people to get rid of, he gives me the name of one mafia-related person to act as a shield during the day in case his life is in jeopardy.

Also, as a side note, if you DONT recieve a PM from me tonight, you are just a bystander... I REALLY dont feel like firing off 21 PMs

To clarify, there are 5 mafia members including Big Daddy.

Yes, I presume. This, of course, could only be for when he becomes the target. Therefore, its up to the Bystanders to identify him and solely target him. He or she will end up having to pull other Mafia members to take the bullet for him and thus after a few rounds, rendering him defenseless.

But... what happens if a Thug jumps in front of the Mafia member that the Big Daddy is using as a shield? Would the Mafia member be identified, or would the thug not be able to defend him?

I feel that this game will be short if the Big Daddy is identified very early.
