For a section of a level I am making, I needed to use yellow switch blocks inside a room with switch palace graphics. The problem is, when you switch to the switch palace tileset, a large amount of default Map16 tiles (including the switch blocks) turn into inane garbage.
The question is: does this gibberish have some sort of in-game meaning or would it be completely safe to change the four switch blocks to their proper graphics? |

Well it depends....if you're planning on putting the yellow switch blocks in the room with the switch then I don't know. However if you just want the blocks, what you can do is just some ExGFX's of the tiles you want. Hope that helps. | |||

Actually, I was using ExGfx and a custom palette for the yellow blocks, but this would only work for yellow and red (and they both would need a different ExGfx). Green and blue blocks won't work for this, though. |
