Kirby looked down, and realized he was standing on poor Jack. Apparantly, Kirby had knocked Jack off the platform while he was knocked out of the ring. Supa Dreamlander: Jack! Oh man! I'm sorry! Grubba: We have ourselves a winner! The Armored Harriers! Red Adonis: Bluh huh huh huh huh... How'd you like that? We tried to tell you, but nooo... Green Adonis: If you want another piece of pummel pie, have a bath and come on back! Punk! -------------------------------------- Jolene: Here's your fight money. Jolene approaches Grey and hands him a small handful of coins. Jolene: One coin for each. Now, if you'll excuse me... I must be going. Jolene pushed her glasses up and headed out the locker room. Meanwhile, Kirby was bowing his head repeatedly at Jack. Kirby: I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I've sent Teddylot out to get you some medication, and Zap went along to make sure he didn't waste the money on idiocies. |

Sig plodded over to the group, and checked Jack's battered body up and down. Sig: "They did a numba' on youse guys, fer sure! I ain't neva' seen such an embarassin' loss afta' so many wins!" Grey gritted his teeth, and backhanded Sig just slightly enough to knock him back a few steps. Grey: "Sig, we've just had a very humiliating and humbling loss, we don't need to deal with any more heckling right now..." Sig staggered backwards, and soon began to tumble due to the weight of his shell. That darn gold, he thought... King could take his bling and shove it up his--- BEEP! "Eh?" Grey's head strayed from Jack and Supa Dreamlander to Sig, who had accidentally backed into the console and hit, by some sick stroke of luck, the exact sequence of buttons required for him to be entered into a battle. Sig: "Ehehehe... Aw, 'eck." |

Kirby immediately looks behind him when he hears the door open up. He sees Teddylot. Supa Dreamlander: Awesome. That was fast. Did you get the medicine? Teddylot shakes his head. Supa Dreamlander: Wait, what? Teddylot: The shop guy was just mean. It was all Zap's fault. Supa Dreamlander: Yeah right. *sighs* Then just get on the blimp and grab something at Rogueport. Teddylot: Right. That's the thing. We... kinda need more money. Supa Dreamlander: ... Nice try. Go to Rogueport already. Teddylot: Fiddlesticks. Kirby glared at Teddylot as the little bear walked out of the room. He shook his head then looked at the egg he was holding. Supa Dreamlander: ... I.. I think I can feel it moving again... | Grey: "What do you suppose is inside...?"
He poked the egg gingerly. It poked back. He stepped back a few feet, and his eyes widened. Weird, he thought as he pushed his spectacles up his nose. "I see... Hm, let me try something." He closed his eyes, and concentrated on the egg's aura. Gradually, a faint shadow of a being came into view, but it was nothing more than a blur. He focused a little harder, but felt nothing more than what might be... "Argh... Nothing. I can't see inside of it. I'm stymied!" He took another look at Jack. If Teddylot and Zap had failed, he supposed it was a good idea for him to give it a shot... "But at least I know what to do about you, Jack. If, that is, you're willing to stand infuriatingly still for about an hour." He assessed Jack's wounds. It wasn't like Jack was capable of doing anything else, in his condition. | Grubba: Ah! Well howdy there. Ah reckon Ah didn't expect to see you stickin' around, seein' as how your pardners up and left without adherin' to the rules. But you seem like you're itchin' for a fight.. Tell ya what. If you take on the Pokey Triplets, three on one, Ah'll let you keep fightin' by yourself, earnin' even more moolah. Jus' head on outside, an' we'll have ourselves a little impromptu match. Ah'll have Jolene meet you out there.
----------------- Supa Dreamlander: Grey... You could've mentioned that sooner before the money was handed over to them. I'd say.. just go ahead and do it. He's not gonna be moving from there for a while..... Hey! Hey! I think it's hatching! Kirby quickly found himself a seat on a broken bench and held the large egg a bit away from him. Kirby's face started to fill with amazement as cracks began to appear all over the egg. All of a sudden... "Yoshi!" The top of the egg splintered out in every direction. Fortunately for Kirby, he was wearing sun glasses so he didn't get any of the eggshell in his eye. Supa Dreamlander: It's a black yoshi! Oh man! These little guys are so rare! Yoshi: Yoshi! Supa Dreamlander: Aww! It's so cute!! Kirby picked the yoshi out of the remains of the egg shell and basically glomped it. |

******** Troy : Ugh... I can't feel my groin... Goomba #1 : Hyeh! You aren't gonna be feeling it again after we're done with you! Troy: Oh, what the hell is that supposed to me-blERK- One of the Goomba Brothers had already zoomed up to Troy, quite swiftly bashing him in the family jewels with its cranium. Troy, far too accustomed to having a shell defend that area, took the blow with no shred of manlihood and crumpled to his knees. Troy : ...mommy. Goomba #2 : This is like stealing candy from a post-pubescent baby! Troy : At least I have a puberty cycle! Goomba #3 : ...yes... but... er... we... um... In that timeframe, Troy had launched himself forward. His hand suddenly transformed into a deformed crimson gauntlet, latching onto the third Goomba and slamming it into the ground with whatever strength he could muster. A pyre of flame blasted up, and the audience nearest him calmly moved an entire row back as embers poured off the stage. ******** The locker room door swung open again, and Troy waddled in, holding an ice pack over his waist. He froze midstride as he nearly plowed over Kirby. Troy : ...okay, I can explain this. Troy was wrapped up in an extremely uncomfortable-looking black/red spandex mexican-wrestler's outfit, complete with cheesy embroidered flames. Troy : I'm just occupying myself, rules and regulations wouldn't let me join an existing team without replacing an earlier registered member, and- Troy glanced at the screen on the match console as it returned to its regular state, slowly scrolling through the rankings. An awesome thing, happened! Kirby proudly holds the little black yoshi infront of him. Supa Dreamlander: Meet.... uh... er... He then pulls the yoshi close to him and kinda stares at the yoshi. Supa Dreamlander: No extensive eyelashes.. so it's a guy.. Hmm.. She's gonna get a kick out of this when she finds out... Well, when she's born, I guess. He holds out the yoshi once again. | Grey: "Heck no! Just trust me... But you can't move, so if you do, I might just do it anyway. I'm about to go into a trance, so hold still."
He grinned and prepared himself.... A green glow surrounded him, and an intense amount of mental labor took place. Grey closed his eyes and laid his hands on Jack's shoulders, so that the glow surrounded him. "PK Healing Omega!!!" A dome of white-blue light surrounded them, as flashy special effects danced betwixt their bodies in celebration of the freed psionic energies that Grey had released. Slowly, yet surely, the pain in Jack's wounds began to relieve itself, and Grey slowed his focus for a moment long enough to let simple words. "Now... You cannot move, or else this will lose all of its effects. In about an hour, you should be better than new. If you have anything to say before I go into a full trance, do so. You won't be able to do anything for as long as I'm in one, and this definitely beats a full night's sleep." Grey held himself back gingerly, and waited. --------------- Sig: "Uh, 'kay... Sure?" Sig followed Grubba out of the locker room, taking note of Troy's haphazard appearance. Hmph, he thought. Koopa without a shell, disgracin' 'is pride... He exited the room in full, and readied himself for whatever Jolene had to press onto him. |

The yoshi's stomach growled loudly after Kirby's silence. A sweatdrop ran down the back of Kirby's head. And then... Yami started crying. Supa Dreamlander: Eep! There there, Yami! I'll get you some foodsies! Kirby held the yoshi close to him, gently rocking the baby, but its crying wouldn't stop. Supa Dreamlander: Er... Wait.. I don't have... Gah! Zap and Teddylot's got it.. His eyes start to wander around. He's not up for picking an OT'd Melvin's pockets... He's not about to ask Jack, since Jack's injury was his fault... Grey had just bought something rather expensive, so he was sure there wasn't enough money to buy food.. And Troy.. Well, those spandex just kept Kirby from asking for money. Supa Dreamlander: Alright! If you guys don't mind, I'm gonna have myself a rematch. Kirby slowly walked up to the terminal and pressed a button. Grubba's face appeared on the screen. Grubba: Well, boy howdy! Fixin' for a fight, huh? Wait a tic.. what's all that ruckus? Supa Dreamlander: Oh.. don't mind that.. Er.. My match? Grubba: Oh, right! Lemme just see here.... Ah.. well, seein's how we've got a nice crowd gathered up, Ah think we'll go for a super show, make them sweat it out and even hit the pay per view at their little tv's at home. Ah'm gonna let you rematch the Armored Harriers! Be sure to do somethin' nice an' cool. Razzle dazzle, pardner! Oh, an' be sure to have atleast two members in your team. Or else, we can't make this happen. The screen fades away. Supa Dreamlander: Hum.... ---------------------- Meanwhile... Jolene stood outside of the Glitzpit Arena building. She was staring at her clipboard until she noticed Sig walking out. Jolene: There you are. Well, let's get started, shall we? Jolene walked to the center of Glitzville. Jolene: Ladies and Gentlemen! A special event to those of you out here! This is just a sample of what you can see inside the Glitzpit! This koopa over here is willing to battle it out with the Pokey Triplets! Give it up for the lone KP Koopa, Sig! Standing in the center of Glitzville stood three poison Pokeys. Their eternal smilies freaked out nearby onlookers. Pokey: Thisssss one... Grubba sssssaid you ssssaid mean thingssssss about usssss! We're gonna make you regret it, sssstupid koopa! Jolene: Get ready.. to Baaaatle! He stomped his foot on the ground, getting pissed off as he usually did when he fought. This was just the same as all the last fights, Grubba tricking around and messing with the heads of the competitors to make the fights seem more "authentic". Sig had just about had it! Without King around, there wasn't any reason for him to follow orders, and it was a surefire bet that if he did, he'd just end up losing again! It was time to show what he was made of. "Yeh're bein' messed with! Are ya all seriously dat whacked?" He punched his fist into his other palm, and scowled behind his shades. "Fine, then. Bring it on!" |

Smithy's head turned to Kirby for a moment, and then shook his head. Supa Dreamlander: Oh, come on. I'm not gonna let them hurt you. Smithy was still shaking his head. Supa Dreamlander: Limey... Kirby looked to his side. He doesn't think Melvin could stand a beating from something like the Gundam Twins.... And Grey's going to deal with healing Jack... And Fem's.... Supa Dreamlander: There there, Yami.. I'll get you some food soon... Oh! Yami! Okay, I know you might give me a very bad look when you grow up and hear about this.. but... The security guy stepped inside the room. Security Guy: You ready, bub? Supa Dreamlander: Sure as ever. Definitely ready to get my cape back. ------------------------------------ The pokey triplets gave out a ghoulish howl as all three of them popped one of their round body parts into the air. The remaining two parts plus their heads swayed backwards for a moment. And then, all at once, they tilted foward, smacking their spined body parts straight at Sig. The heavy-shelled koopa leapt into the air, backflipping into his shell and out of the way of the first two body parts. The third slammed into his shell, but ricocheted off harmlessly. King's bling served more than just a decorative purpose. Sig's voice was muffled as it sounded from within the safety of his shell. "'Dis here's solid gold! Y'all can't pierce it wit' yer normal spines! I ain't been able ta take advantage o' 'dis since back in da beginnin'!" With the added weight of a golden shell, Sig countered by spinning around rapidly, and launching himself at the Pokeys in an angle that'd make him bounce back and forth between the three of them like a pinball. It was a classic Koopa move, to be sure, but not the only one Sig had up his sleeve. |

| Grubba: Fer our next battle, we got the Merciless Executioners, SUPA DREAMLANDER AND CO.! And... The Gundam Adonis Twins.... Yep, a fight with The Armored Harriers!!
On the other side of the arena stood the Gundam Clefts. Kirby gritted his teeth as he walked up the steps. Red Adonis was seem to be wearing Kirby's cape. Red Adonis: These ultrahard bods just can't lose! Grubba: Get yerselves ready to... BAAAAAAAATLE! ---------------------------------- The pokey triplets were helpless to Sig's pinball attack. One by one, their body parts were knocked out of place, leaving them with just their heads. Unfortunately for Sig, he was unable to show what else he had as the pokey triplets were just left in a daze after the attack. Jolene: Ladies and Gentlmen! I present to you, the winner! Jolene walks up to Sig. Jolene: The lone KP Koopa, Sig! The crowd of spectators applauded and cheered. Joelene: I don't want to put you up to this, but Grubba wanted me to give you an offer. Green Adonis: Hey! Don't start calling us names again, stinkwad! Supa Dreamlander: Y-Yami! What're you.. Yami lashed out his tounge at one of the Adonis Twins and quickly pulled the metal monster into his mouth. Supa Dreamlander: Yami! No! He's not really a blue berry! He's not food! Spit him back out this instant! Kirby started to pat Yami on the back, not wanting to smack the baby yoshi. Yami eventually spat the metal monster out, right into the other Adonis twin. A shriek came out of Red Adonis while Green stumbled around with a dizzy look on his face. Red Adonis: YEEEEEOOOOOWCH! You spiked me right in the... THAT REALLY HURT! Green Adonis: ... Oh, dang, Bro! Has he discovered our weak points? Supa Dreamlander: Busted! Let's do this, Yami! ---------------------------------- Jolene: Of course you're going up the ranks. Also, you receive all the money that would've normally gone to your old allies, plus what you would've earned for ranking up. Jolene started to walk backwards, holding out a hand in the air. Jolene: Folks! We have another treat for everyone! The Lone KP Koopa, Sig, will take on those ghoulish koopas.. The Dead Bones! That's right, a fight with no break! Can you feel the tension in the air? While Jolene was speaking, a pack of four skeletal koopas ran out of the Glitzpit building, hooting and laughing. Dry Bones: We're gonna make you deader than we are! |
