Because I can.

Since I am the gold trophy winner for Best Advice (ROAR)... I figure, why not make this thread? I've been considering it for a while, and now I've finally decided to.

So ask away, anything you'd like about life, love, music, games, me, you... just ask.

That thread was pretty entertaining. But I think you'd get more activity (and funniez) from it in Craziness. But hey, if you want to join the cool club in Femine's, you're more than welcome to!

You get this one because Grey hasn't answered it and I'm an impatient bastard.

If the answer to the above is yes, then on to part two.
I picked up a Hello Kitty patch. It's grey with purple and black trim and a white kitty face. Can I pull off wearing it?

Sure you can, a lot of people around here do that look. I think it's pretty cool, unless you overdo it and everything clanks together when you walk. And patches are awesome, I used to have a lot of those. But if you don't want to look even slightly 80's... then I wouldn't. Because that WAS the style back then.

As for Hello Kitty, umm.. If you can take the possible laughs you'll get for wearing a little girl's dream patch, more power to you!

I don't mind looking slightly 80's. I spent my formative years in the skating rinks and arcades of the decade, after all.

As for kitty, I'd imagine I'll get more compliments for it than anything else. It's like the guys who can pull off wearing a pink shirt and make it look completely masculine.

Who can wear a pink shirt and make it look masculine?

Other than Bruce Willis, who can do anything and still be a badass for it.

LOL.
Well, now that YOU have one, too, I'm gonna ask you the question I asked Grey about my friend.
If you'd rather I post it here, fine, but I won't waste space unless you want me to.

I'll be going to the beach (yay Florida!) for a week on the 28th. I don't shave my chest anymore becaus eit's annoying... But now that I have a shaved head, shouldn't I do the chest to match?

I had it shaved when I went to Cyprus last summer. Nothing will ever beat the tan I got there. The Mediterranean spoiled me pretty badly, but I think I'll be able to enjoy the gulf fairly well... I just won't really swim much.

Anyway... yeah. Shaved head. Tattoo on my stomach near the waistline. Belly button stud. Tan.

Do these things require that I shave for the beach?

Kasdarack: I'd say to shave it, but that's just me and my preference on guys (haha). I wouldn't really think it too odd if you didn't shave, but... since you're bald, I bet it would look a bit unusual.

I say shave.

Wite: Dude, pink is only sexy if the right people wear it. Put pink on the wrong people, and they make me want to laugh at them.

Destiny Smasher: Hmm... she doesn't seem nice to me. It sounds like she feels superior to you, possibly because of her age, possibly because of different interests, maybe because you aren't as social as she may be... I'm sure you can think of the reasons. It's definitely not fair to you that she treats you that way, when you're being nothing but friendly and caring. Talking behind your back is just classless, and she shouldn't be keeping it going with you if she apparently dislikes you that much. So either... she's just whining to her friends for attention, or she doesn't want to hurt your feelings. You seem to like her, so I'm learning towards the latter. My advice would be to talk with her, tell her that you feel she doesn't enjoy your company, and if that's the case you'd appreciate it if she stopped dragging you along. You're old enough to understand it, and don't want to be treated like a 5 year old.
Some other advice would be to act more like yourself. Don't do what her friends do... do what you do. She's not ever going to like you if you pretend to be someone else. Then you just look fake... and fake people are no fun.

If you do talk to her, tell me how it goes. Good luck.

amen. like in pulp fiction, he was gagged and saved a dude who was getting assraped. nothing about the whole thing seemed gay!
...except the whole gangster getting raped thing. that was pretty gay.

anyways danielle, um, how much have you wanted an "ask danielle" thread?

i don't really have a question.

This is a myth. A fucking Atlantis or something. Everyone talks about pink looking good on some guys, but the only guys I see wearing it are the polo-shirt popped-collar pre-torn-jeans kind of guys who make me want to kick them in the groin so they won't replicate.

Show me a picture or something

Kasdarack: Depends on how much you have to shave. If you are mostly smooth, it's just a personal preference thing. If you look like something out of an 80's porno, it needs to go.

Hence the "haha." I guess, for me, it's that if I had to see a guy without a shirt on, I'd much rather see him hairless on the chest. That, and it shows your body's features much much better (if you have pecs or abs or anything like that).

Jeff: I've wanted one for quite a while, but since we had 3 going at the time... I didn't push it.

Wite: Well, it's all preference, really. Some people find guys that wear pink to be sexy, because it shows they aren't afraid of looking less manly, so to speak. Some guys can just pull it off. If you think all guys look gay in a pink shirt, more power to you. You can have your own opinion.

But those shirts that are all "TOUGH GUYS WEAR PINK" make me want to stab whoever's wearing it.

when i was little, some daughter of one of my mom's friend told me not to wear black because "it'll make your peepee get real big". i'm guessing she's saying this based off her brother; he wears a lot of black(she was 6 and he was 19 at the time). i don't know how she found that out, though. i have three older brothers and i've yet to see any of their chromosome snakes.
not that i want to or anything.

Meh. I shaved. I got so used to having hair on my chest that it looks stupid.

I'm sure it wouldn't if I were used to being smooth again, but... *misses his sexy chest hair*
