I just got Megaman Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar yesterday and beat it in 20:12. Kinda sad.....

EDIT: The final boss is easy but, as always, Bass is a psychotic murderer.

So.... Is that 20 minutes, 12 seconds, or 20 hours, 12 minutes?

The first would be sad. Second would be standard fare for an RPG. Especially if you spent all of your time between now and then playing it. But why would you spend that much time playing a Battle Network game?

That is an accomplishment if you didn't use any guides whatsoever. Every battle network game seems to have some puzzle that will just piss you off. It's the reason why I have yet to beat the 4th one in the series.

It was 20 hours, which was awesome compared to my friend, who beat it in 3 days. And am I the only one pissed that there will be no official Battle Network 7?

Relax.

Capcom will do exactly what they did with the Zero series and do some weird kind of crossover/spinoff.

20 hours is a little short for an RPG but totally understandable. I wouldn't try beat it in 2 days mind you, but...

I heard the game's more of the same sadly, and I never got into the first few games so... :\ The story, however, is supposed to be solid.

Eh, to me, the series got boring after 3... which was the best next to 2

They pulled off the stars thing very well. 4 was bad at it (BEAT ME 3 TIMES OMG), 5, I never even bothered to pick up...

And yes, Bass always is disgustingly hard the first time through (Stupid lifeaura)

I beat falzar in like half that. But than again falzar is easy.

Bass is crazy.

Still trying to beat his last form.

True, the battle network games can get a little repetative, but they are making an effort with the whole soul unison thing, as well as full syncro and some other assorted mood swings that megaman has in battle.

How do they keep me playing you ask?

Heh, just keep feeding me more powerful gigachips, I'll play the game just so I can experience that deeply satisfying moment when bass pops out on your side of the field and launches some freaky grape colored donuts at that odd clown boss. HOORAY!

My brother got Cybeast Falzar and beat it right away. In fact, he never used his beast-out powers except for on the final boss because he said it was too cheap.

The new viruses were interesting, but it didn't strike me as that good.

And don't worry, they're making another Megaman.exe game, Megaman Wave Network or something. It's set 100 years in the future where everything is wireless, so Navis travel on invisible highways called the Wave road, or something. Megaman looks pretty awesome, though. He even gets some kind of new wolf-head looking attachment to his arm. I don't know where the link is, though.

Get ready for Megaman ZX.

Which may not suck. First game or two will be great and then we'll see where the creativity goes.

Well, the graphics certainly aren't dissappointing. I wonder if it will be better than the Megaman Zero series...

Battle Network has been getting sequels in record time. #7 has already been announced. This is truly the epitome of Capcom's franchise milking.

This is the fist I have heard of a legit Battle network 7, and yes, they are milking it dry.
