I'm bruised a bit and my arm hurts. There's some graphic content to this story... please don't be offended.

Last night I was working a happy-hour shift at the Brewery. I made sure everyone got their tabs paid for and everything, also served their drinks. This man we all knew named Lou, he was scruffy-looking but a pretty nice guy. He came in with his 16-year old son, Jimmy. Quiet but big like his father, he never caused us trouble. After Lou had a couple drinks, Wendy, this stupid young woman (around 20 years old) we told to get out came in with a really big guy with a 'Border Patrol' cap (her boyfriend) and his friend, some tall skinny guy with a budweiser cap.

They were spending their time getting drunk and being obnoxious around our customers. Wendy asked stupid questions to some of the college guys like, "Are you gay?! Hahahahaha!" also bragged on about things, "I'm only 90 lbs! Whooooo!!!!". My manager Tro, didn't take that very well so, he told Taylor to call the police just in case things go bad. Just when I thought it couldn't be worse, they played pool with Lou and Jimmy. Lou was a bit drunk while Jimmy was trying to back away from everyone. Those idiots pressured him into playing, I told Jim, "Hey, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. They're a bunch of idiots!"

Nonetheless, Jimmy stuck it out and played. Those morons were so drunk, they kept skipping turns and Wendy hit the 8-ball, instantly losing the game. I heard Lou saying something along the lines of, "I can't believe... you lost... to my 12-year old son. You owe us 25 cents, a beer and a coke! Errrr....". The big guy got pissed off and said, "Old man, you don't understand where I came from. I'm on probation, fucker! I got out of the penetentiary a month ago!!!". Wendy stuck in another dumb comment, "What? So do you molest your kid or something you old faggot?". While I was cashing in someone's tab, Taylor ran over there to break it up, she said, "No! Y'all had enough! Why don't you just sit down Lou? Come here Jimmy!". Things went smoothly for about 10 minutes. People were singing in the karaoke (I hate that thing) drinking and whatnot. I was cashing in while Lou was filling out his tab. They were ready to leave around 12:30, then the big guy walked near the exit, and slammed Lou to the floor!!!

Lou hit his head hard near the counter before hitting the floor. Alot of people crowded the exit. The tall guy kept stomping on Lou's head while the big guy left the building with Wendy. Taylor and Tro ran after the big guy while I grabbed the skinny mfo and held his head against a table. I told him, "Calm the FUCK down! Calm the FUCK down!!!". Some idiots tried to beat up the skinny guy and ended up bruising the hell outta me. I yelled at them to get back. While some morons were trying to punch the guy, they accidently whacked my arms and made me let him go. Jimmy yelled, "Dad!!! Dad!!! Why did they do that to you!?". I grabbed Jimmy and said, "No! You're dad's fine! You're dad's fine!". When Tro was coming back, he was dragging Taylor into the bar. She got a broken nose and ribs. She was trying hard to breathe, had the air knocked out of her. Tro told everyone to give her some air, I yelled at Tro and told him to get a towel for Lou.

After 5 minutes, the cops and the ems came by. They took us to the hospital to get checked out. One cop asked me for my story and asked if I wanted to press charges, I said yes. After the doc said I was free to go, I wanted to make sure Lou was alright. He had a slight concussion from the hit on the counter. I waited to make sure Jimmy and Lou could get home safe. It took hours for the doctors to stitch up Lou. Around 6 in the morning, I called Julie to come pick up Lou, Jimmy and me. We dropped Jimmy off first, then told him to call us if there's any more ttrouble. Poor kid had no one else around to take care of him and his dad. I had to get my car back from the Brewery. Those idiots cannot come back to the bar or Tro would have them arrested on the spot. Now I'm bruised up all over my ribs, my arm and my lip is cut open a bit. I had a pretty shitty night...

Vyper, he works at the bar. What he did is commendable, but not for the reason you said In fact, it's probably more commendable because he stuck up for people he probably wasn't close friends with.

People like that are a waste of fucking food they eat. I'm sure there's intelligent, mature kids in Ethiopia that deserve life more than those guys do.

Good for you... keeping a level head. I think in that situation I might have picked up something heavy and ended up in jail for killing some scumbag fuck. I tend not to value the lives of people I deem unfit to share my atmosphere.

*edit* Ok, that's a bit extreme. I'm in a better mood and don't want to throw bricks at rednecks anymore Everything I said above was bullshit, but my point was that I probably would have fought instead of doing what you did.

I would never work at a bar due to reasons like this....some people just go so overboard that shit like this happens. It's almost scary at times. My parents were out for a walk one night and they saw an old couple beating the shit out of each other with glass bottles. Turns out they were both extremely impared....if my parents hadn't have noticed, one of them would have most likely been dead. However, this thread isn't about me, so I won't get into detail ... but that's what being overly drunk does to you I guess

I feel kind of bad for Lou...getting your head stomped on would be killer painful. It's great that you were there to help...congratulate yourself

That big guy deserves one hell of a beatup. Doesn´t that bar have some kind of guard? Btw, you shouöd´ve slammed the skinny guy's head on the table a few times.

Too bad it ended like this. Some people are just out to cause trouble. My guess is that Lou was knocked out by that collision with the counter. Glad he was okay afterwards. It could´ve been worse.

Hell, my dad got in one a week ago. Half of his limbs have metal rods from an accident, and his left leg got busted all to Hell. Guess who won?

That's right, my dad!

... I don't know if I should congratulate him, or pity him.

Bars. What a great place to be at. Fights every now and then, occasional deaths.... I'm surprised you even got out with minor injuries like that. That's just amazing... What you did was awesome.

Heh... I tip my cap to ye. One time, I was out with a few friends (and then-gf) when a fight broke out. One of the friends was involved, but he didn't start it; some dickheads were following us around. Soon as punches were thrown, my only thought was get. the. fuck. out. of. here. Got pinned in a corner, along with the ex, table got knocked into us, we just got the hell out of there.

Why'd you tell Wendy to leave in the first place, though? Bet she won't be THAT stupid to go back now...

Tro said that Wendy wasn't allowed to come back. She was probably drunk when she came in. I hope that she and her friends don't come back to beat up our customers, it's bad enough that we're working to buy some security. Tro cannot pay it off right now and if this stuff keeps happening, we won't get any security guards to help.
