Ok... Either my 9 year old brother is good and I'm bad, we are both good, or we are both bad, becaue he's pretty good.

I don't count trailors as part of the game.

You could tell me why you did that.
And, who really cares about that anyway?

I'm sure it helps for the request to be by someone Nintendo officials don't despise.

I'm sure that is true as well, though I'm not on the ball with who all the big N "despise" right now.

Snake actually doesn't really seem all that realistic. Nintendo had an issue with Snake using guns in the game, so rather than use guns he uses a combination of CQC combat and explosives.

He is, it is just.. He has a big parody thing hanging along with his character. And yes I know that, I imagine the same could be done to others.. Not to suggest there NEEDS to be anymore realistic characters, mind you, but it isn't out of the question either. (I'm not eliminating options right now.)

I also don't like it when people do this to me. *coughmainlyalastorcough*

I don't really care that Snake is in the game, so I don't care if he uses guns or not.

I wouldn't say things like that if you wouldn't constantly say things which add absolutely nothing to the conversation and seem to serve only to annoy me.

Red, you need to see the trailer to really understand what everyone in this thread is talking about when referring to SSBB. Especially since with the way the trailer's portrayed, it seems like what we saw was pretty close to what actual game footage is going to be like.

That video won't play for me. It's aghaghahg.

Also, spell werdz rite, good job. Being able to beat very hard shows you have potential. Now do it without continuing.

Edit: Oh, it's just that... You made it sound new

*raises hand*

Beating Very Hard mode is good, but ultimately it'll soften you: The computer, even when it's thinking as critically as possible, just uses the same patterns over and over again. Eventually, you can adapt your own fighting style such that you're able to defeat any computer opponent, while still losing to humans.

It's good for training, but if you don't fight a real human, you might start to plateau off. I suggest Adventure Mode for Kyouji's challenge! Mostly because I like Giga Bowser...

I didn't continue, I only lost two lives on a three life stock.
One for Team Ness and one for Metal Peach.
But thank you!

I did notice that it does go at a pattern. I always see the same styles of teams on the second match and on the fifth match, the computer seems to be more evasive than aggressive.
But I also play VS. matches. I played Very Hard so many times that the level 9 CPs are much easier. I can now beat two on Team Battle with about half my stock left over.
But my Human matches haven't diminished either. I went to my grandmas today where fireworks are legal and I met my cousin there. Like always, he brought his Game Cube to play. I challenged him and beat the "I'm the best in the world" speech right out of his mouth!
I also suck playing against Giga Bowser (unless it's event 51, he's first to go). I'm trying to beat it on Hard with one life before I do Very Hard.

CPUs aren't much of a challenge because they all fail at defending against right+A.

All of them.
