I mentioned Megazeux a little in another thread and got a bit of interest from it. I'm sure several of you have used it some time in the past as this is quite a large community. Or you may've used ZZT, Megazeux's close (crappier) relative. Yes, there still is a community for this! and there's new versions out too! It runs natively in windows and linux now. so yeah and i dunno if programming is the best choice there are so many damn forums here it's hard to know where to put something :/ uh yeah http://www.digitalmzx.net/
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's just a GCS but it's different because it makes more "retro" looking games, really since it's based on old text mode DOS graphics. Also, it's very easy to grasp for new people to it yet it can be very powerful. (someone made a 3D polygons engine for it. :p) (longest post I've ever made EVER!) |

I've used it. A lot. Both MZX and ZZT.
In fact, I was very surprised when I saw the Windows port. "That thing still being made?" It's like running it in Dosbox, only better. |
