I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean new graphics, the submaps, or links between submaps and the main map? | |||

yes what? o_0 don't make 1 word posts, please.
If you mean how to make the map look different, then use the map editor and lunar magic faq If you mean how to get the maps from others hacks, first ask to the author if you can get the map first, then you can copy and paste it, but the events have to be copied manually (I think, I never tried this...) If you did mean how to change the graphics and stuff, change the graphics with a tile editor. (edited by Shiryu on 06-29-06 02:14 PM) (edited by Shiryu on 06-29-06 02:16 PM) |

Ah, for all of it then. To edit the graphics, you need a tile editor like YY-CHR. I don't have a link, so google it.
To link paths, you need an object that can link. To link pipes and star roads, open the overworld editor and go to 16x16 layer 1 editor. It's the toolbar button that's a ghost house without the X. Click the blue switch palace to open up your 16x16 tiles. Set two pipes where you want them, and close it. To link them, click on the pipe in your toolbar while one of your pipes are highlighted. Choose an exit index (what they already say doesn't matter) and set the other as "no return setting found". Go to your second pipe and do the same. Use a different exit index, and use the exit index you used on your first pipe in the destination index. Go back to your first pipe and set the destination index and the exit index of the first pipe. Voila, they're linked. |
