I ran into a bug on the SMB3 Workshop when editing a hilly level, when I save it the tiles become underground tiles (with starfield background and all) I tried to change it back to the hilly tiles and it keeps changing to the underground tiles instead.
anybody else ran into this glitch? |

It sounds like a header issue (I could be wrong though) But go to file and save a M3L level from a clean SmB3 rom and put it back in your hack. I did that a few times when I was hacking Wario 3. Hope that'll help you out some.

I've had the same bug. If you change the graphics set in the header and save it, it'll save correctly, but anytime that you go back to the header option for hilly level type, the editor sets the graphics to underground automatically.

Fixed - I was only reading 4 bits from the relevant part of the header instead of 5.

works like a charm now
all we need now is for SMB3 Workshop to work on the all stars version but thats a long ways off |
