Wow...
Although it is awesome, there is still some small glitches. 1. Put two ending (or what so-called because my English sucks) to the covenyor belt, otherwise, it seems rather strange. 2. 7th screenshot: Do not use that YI backgrounds with boos and eeries, but , you may change the palette into a darker one, it fits the theme. 3. 6th screenshot: The ledge does not have an edge, add one. By the way, register me as your Beta-tester, please. And if possible, send it to me thru E-mail (atlantis2202@126.com) instead of PM, because I don't have that. Well, this was certainly unexpected. That hack looks pretty sweet, insect. I especially like the MM tileset, and the title screen. However, in the overworld screenie, there is a yellow outline around the paths in the water. It should be blue, or else it looks very strange. Good work, anyhow |

Hope it's not too late, but... I want to test
For the most part, this hack looks awesome; but I question two screenshots: This screenshot has a lot of inconsistencies. The background looks all right, but I can't help but think the FG was ripped incorrectly (unless you modified it). The tank could use some better design. The tank's "cannon" is a mere bullet shooter. You should have used the cannon pipes of the original doomtanks instead. Note blocks should never replace slopes. Ever. |

You guys must all be blind. Did you even LOOK at the screenshots?
Screenshot #1: Does look good, I admit. Screenshot #2: Meh, it's just a bland SMAS overworld. Screenshot #3: This screen looks really boring, as there is nothing going on. Screenshot #4: This place looks really ugly, and the FG doesn't fit in with the BG. Screenshot #5: Castle bricks in an underwater level? And terrible level design. Screenshot #6: The conveyer belts have no ends. The horny goomba (tee hee) looks ugly. Screenshot #7: Awful overdose of the flame cannons. Screenshot #8: This looks pretty cool, but the ground has no edges. Screenshot #9: This screen looks good, no real complaints here. Screenshot #10: The tank looks ugly, and the cannon is hovering. Screenshot #11: Note Blocks used as ground tiles, poor level design. In conclusion, the use of SMAS graphics is overused, and the level design is awful, just awful. |
