| If any of you all want a little preview of the TA tournament (since as you've said, you're not really sure what you're up against), send me a message in AIM and I'll play a round or two with you. I'm a bit out of practice, but I would've probably gotten third in the last tournament if it finished.
And before that tournament I thought I sucked. Heh, it could be the case with a few of you, who knows... I'm gonna redownload a TA rom and get some practice. |

| I can pull off x8s on like, garbage and stuff... And that's only when someone like Hiryuu gives me a lot to work with. Of course, by then I'm probably already dead anyway, if it's Hiryuu. But the best I've ever gotten on pure blocks in single player is x6. I know, I'm crap. But I can get a lot of quick 2s and 3s off. I try to make that my strat, to overwhelm my foes with a lot of small combos. | |||

| I just cleared the Very Hard level of 1P Vs. last night in Tetris Attack with only one continue (on Kamek). Got a x10 against Bowser and he still didn't go down for about a minute... heh, half the opponents fell in about thirty seconds though. Seems I'm not as out of practice as I thought.

| TA Very Hard without continues isn't really too tough for me anymore. PPL S-Hard is about the hardest AI I've ever come up against. I almost always have to continue once or twice against the final Gary and Mewtwo to beat it (although I have beaten it a few times without continues).

| Due to TA AI's inability to garbage-chain, often trying to chain one as long as possible (even if it lead to useless x? chains) doesn't make TA too hard.
Try to play the Japanese version, either I useed the ROMs with wrong checksums or Panel De Pon plays much faster in both 1P vs CPU and 2P mode, more exactely the time after you touch the top seems to be way shorter, than in Tetris Attack. I have to agree PPL's AI on the fitfth difficulty level is pretty insane. Already from the 5th or 6th opponents it begins to play for keeps with me. At least it is not that easy to die like in PPC for GBA. I died two or three times due to a long chain - and then the panels ran out, after this a nice garbage block fell on me |

| Press B-A-L-L on the screen where Yoshi/Lip says "Nintendo." A tone will play. Now, whenever you clear a combo or chain, the stack will not stop like it does normally but will instead continue to rise. Also, you will die instantly anytime the stack hits the top of the screen (unless there are panels/garbage clearing).
It would make the game incredibly tough, except that it affects both players, so CPU players are hit just as hard. |

Oh god. I just played through a game of TA for the first time since I got my new gamepad [I usually just play it on my SNES] and the response time is quite horrible. I almost lost a match on hard. not very hard, but normal hard. I mean thats just pitiful  |

| we could, but then it'd be all confusing and stuff. we could have one after the other, I really have a one-track mind. I dunno. It's up to the people. I'd rather have one tournament after the other, both of which had alot of people, than split the tournaments in two and only have half the people in each. So it's up to you all really. |
