| will I be able to use hacked roms in the wii
are wii games compatible with the classic controller or just older games will older games be compatible with the wii-mote and nunchuka (will the wii be pre-programmed with an interface in its emulation like to use pointing as the joy stick, the nun stick as the pad, the pad on the remote as the c stick, etc.) something like that will some one be able to make software like pointy remote that lets me use my wii as a computer with the pointer as a mouse buttons as mouse buttons and a small section of the screen that has keys I can shoot to use them |

| 1. Not initially, though I'd not be surprised if someone came up with a workaround. Romhacks are not supposed to be made, and Nintendo will in no way support them. BUt like I said, I'd not be surprised if a workaround was made...
2. I've read that most Wii games will be compatible wiht the Gamecube controller, but I don't know if that extends to the Classic controller or not. 3. Perhaps, but it'd be horribly inconvenient. 4. ... what? 5. Line breaks, capitalization, punctuation. Use them, and be understood. | Technically, he did start one on a similar tangent in ROM Hacking (which is relevant there too)...
#4: I think he's asking if he can use the Wii as a comp interface, using the Wiimote as the mouse and a keyboard on-screen. Not a clue why you'd want to, but I wouldn't say never. HIGHLY doubtful, of course. |

| Given that Wii is not yet released, it is way to early to give straight answers (even the console and controllers could be changed before release). Like Thexare said, the virtual console system will most likely be cracked and give you to fake being Nintendo's server and putting your own games and menu on it, yadda. Also, once that is done you could see native homebrew Wii programs; Nintedo themselves say that the virtual console will also be used to provide demos of Wii games (eg, download a Zelda demo, and play up to the first boss or whatever, decide you like the game, and buy the full version) | |||
