Saw it on Friday. I was screwed up the entire time, because I read Angels and Demons last (albeit a good year or so ago), and I was expecting stuff from that to happen cause I got the books mixed up.
I still liked it though. It wasn't a great movie, it was just entertaning things, like the book. |

Just got Da Vinci Code, which I fully plan on reading before seeing the movie.
Angels and Demons I'll read after, because it will make me read Da Vinci Code afterwards again, to make me understand it better! |

You should always read the book before seeing the movie, although very few people actually do that. The movie script is generally a condensed form of the book, so as to keep it within an appropriate time-frame.
I read the Da Vinci Code before I read Angels & Demons, but it was ok, since Dan Brown's works do not cross-reference each other too much. But the worst you could do is read Harry Potter 4 before any of the other books in the series, which, incidentially, I did, and it left me pretty confused. |
