Does some of you know how to do with what Mario can walk for on the water in a certain level, if he is a long time in the same place he falls in the water and if he is inside a long time of the water does he die?

You can use a series of blocktool's changing blocks (block 65, a block that will change into the next block in the map16 when hit by mario) to create the surface of the water,

The first block in the sequence should be solid, as is the next (but this one should look like it is cracked or cracking), the last block should act like water. You can add more changing blocks in the sequence to make it take longer for the ice to crack.

That will take care of the first part of your question. As for staying in the water too long and dying, I haven't a clue.

I litterally know hardly anything about custom blocks, but maybe you could use a new series of the changing blocks to change from a water tile to a different tile that acts like lava but looks like water so it will kill you whenn it changes. You could change the palette to work w/ it and time it all out right. Maybe this would work. By the way, if you're successful, I'd like to play it
GOOD LUCK!

Since I'm curious about custom blocks and the possibilities they offer, how the hell do you use Block tool (I downloaded it a while back, but never used it b/c it confused me)? Are there any tutorials written about it?

*sigh* WHY, oh why can't people figure out that old threads should be left alone?
