Can we at least have the entertainment bit above the craziness bit? I'm so used to that, I keep scrolling past entertainment only to find that CD isn't there anymore.

It's not a matter of activity, it's a matter of organization. It's like you took a deck of Magic cards and a deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards and just shuffled them together.

I don't know, the new layout makes more sense to me. :\

Agreed, and along with this, could you possibly move ROM hacking and SMW under the two listed above please? I feel the same way Danielle does, except with these two.

God, it's like a logic puzzle isn't it?

I'm not talking about the new layout, I'm talking about SF and Sim Battle.

Prove that the SF/SP are active enough to warrant seperation and fine.

As it is, I lump them all together under "Role Playing".

I know the average coherncy of the people in Pokémon hacking forum, but do we really need to put them under the crap category? xD

That's like saying we should combine Brain Teasers and Hardware/Software if they become inactive.

I believe that's the point they're trying to make in regards to Story Forum and the Sim-Battle one.

Maybe by their titles they have little in common, but Story Forum is just an alias for Role Playing Forum. And given that Sim Battle (at least to me) seems like a type of Role Playing, although more limited in scope, it is still Role Playing. And hence they are very similar. edit: if not the same.

That would have been my logic, yes.

With my "H/S & BT are nothing alike" comment earlier, I was refrencing my even earlier comment re: why they got merged.

I don't see what the big problem is -- all you have to do is not participate in threads that don't interest you.

Please don't make me make another Acmlmorons with Common Cents again. Please.

That was perhaps a bit of an overexagerated analogy, but I've been dealing with Sky lately and it's hard to get things across to him.

The Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh analogy was perhaps better. They're both trading/collectable card games, but mixing up the cards of the two would be extremely... well, stupid.

The more cliche analogy would be that of apples and oranges. They're both fruit, but very different fruit. I don't know about you, but while I like apples, and I don't care for oranges. And you just took the pile of oranges and mixed 'em into my pile of apples.

However, it's very easy to simply pick out the oranges and get the apples.

It's called only participating in threads you want to participate in, and it's something everyone's done on this board before. This is no different.

Fine, fine, I forget that I'm a moderator, I'll just throw together a rule that'll make the oranges easier to avoid.
