As for real life, bah. I know how it is for friends to "disappear" and... you've just gotta learn to not depend on them. Depend on something more... well, dependable. But most importantly, just try your best to be happy.

The coloring, like Kirb said, has the ability to suck me into that drawing. You're an incredible artist.

As for the drawing, you do a very good job at varying the line thicknesses. If that is a low resolution picture I'd be really amazed at your high resolution pictures. All in all, it's top-notch quality work.

It would be interesting to see you make environments for your characters and putting in some special effects such as refractions and sunlight.

It's such a sad picture though... I don't know anyone who needs a hug more than you.

ressive. I find it very, very hard to express myself (something that frustrates me to no end is that I'm mostly unable to use art as a tool for self-expression), this picture is an exception rather than a rule. Most of my stuff is cute, I'm sure you've seen it before
