That does not excuse her for not having common sense. Drinking booze at the age of ten and smoking 20 cigarettes a day while pregnant certainly isn't thinking right, much less legal.

Besides, couldn't her parents talk to her about it? I mean, sex education starts at home. But judging on the mother's reactions, she was probably just as ignorant as her.


And about the baby-raping... People like this is why the death penalty exists. But it won't be really necessary, since their parents are most likely going to be brutally slaughtered in prison.

I'd think common sense would tell you that the first time you have sex is not really different from the next... But... people are still stupid. I think the lesson here is more about drinking than about sleeping with people, anyway...

To each their own...I personally don't think she should be ashamed that she's keeping the baby at all. She is showing more responsibility than even some Adults show these days, abandoning their children at infancy and such.

The only thing to be argued with is the fact that she is drinking at such a young age...Like, what the fuck, honestly? Has the movie "Thirteen" come to life or something?

I personally think the whole 20-cigs-a-day smoking habit while pregnant is a bit of an issue, too.

This is probably just me being misinformed, but I'd think the whole 12-year-old-giving-birth thing would be a bit difficult, wouldn't it? I'd expect it to be a caesarian, but that's just me...

Well, that would be an issue whether you were 12 or 32.

It's possible for it to be natural, I think... but the odds of a C-section are way up.

I think I should make "This is bullshit." my new catchphrase after reading that article.

If, however, I do ever have kids, just to make up for all the unlucky sods who have kids when they're like 13 or 14 or are raped or do something that's equivalent in stupidity to thinking your first time having sex is an automatic one-shot no kid guarantee, I'm going to have them when I'm almost 40.
