So I've made some new Pokemon. Now I want to import the icon back to Pokepic. But when I enter it, there is a picture of the old Pokemon and of the new one, like this:
Zoomed in: Game hacking: Pokemon Ruby Can someone tell me how to fix this cause it will look stupid in the game(I've had this problem several times before). Thanks in advance. See ya, MasterKirby |

That's dumb though...any tile editor like Tile Layer Pro. will edit the icon graphics plain and simple. I don't see why people would need to be extra lazy and have a program that inserts it for them...it does not take a lot of effort just to look through the ROM for the right graphics you know..

How Big was your new image? Did it contain both gfx, and not just one of them? Anyways, you can edit these with TLP or YY-Chr or even your hexeditor if you want to.
It's just in case ur wondering: You need to insert both pics, because it is an animation made of two separate pictures cYa, Tauwasser |

As for why people use that tool, I'd think it's because it (hopefully) carries the palettes with it, and you don't have to track down the graphics yourself. Most people will gladly take the easy way out in any given situation |

You don't have to register yourself on that link because we have a shared one just for downloading.
It's in the Program Thread. |

Now all they need is something that edits how much EVs a pokemon can get, a program that edits what each item does (I was planing on making a rare hold item that revives the pokemon holding the item.), and a program that allows you to change the special abilities (Drought, Huge Power, Pressure, Clear Body, etc..)

"You can do graphics things, now you just need something A LOT MORE DIFFICULT!"
Please think about the scale of what you're talking about before saying that "Now all they need to do is..." |
