| One of the first japanese animes apart from Astro Boy. Case closed is the story of a nineteen year old high school student named Jimmy Kuno who was around the 80's. Jimmy solves crimes with his succesful detective skills. But one evening at an amusement park, he was attacked from out of nowhere and was drugged while he was unconscious. The bad guys thought that the drug would kill Jimmy but they were wrong. The drug turned Jimmy back into his childhood form at the age of 8. His highschool friend, Rachel, is not surprised of jimmy turning into a child again but they work together with Rachels father, who is also a detective, to help Jimmy get his 19 year age back.

| There's a reason that Adult Swim decided on cutting it after ep 51 or so. It appeals to a certain audience and a certain audience only.
I thought it was pretty good, that's why I was pretty down when AS took it off their lineup, but I wasn't really surprised either. The last interesting thing I saw out of it was the GBA game that came out for it recently. Unfortunately, it hasn't been translated... |
