Oh and Pit looks so bad ass

Take it easy guy we only know that Snake is in there so far, he could very well be the only third party character.

Wouldn't 16 players be a bit crazy? Unless it was a tournament, or the arenas are big-ass huge...

It might lag a lot, or it might not, we might as well see what happens when the game actually comes out.

I agree with DahrkDaiz, Pit looks badass, the new looks are nice too, but porr Kirby, he didn't even change You can't really improve on a pink blob with limbs and a face though...

I didn't say there'd be 16 players in Brawl. I was just saying that if you can have 16 people in a Live game, you can have 4 here.

Saw the new models and graphics, and I crapped myself.
Saw Zero Mission Samus, and CREAMED myself.
I. Can't. Fucking. Wait.

Wonder if any new Pokemon will be in there...
Maybe one's that *gasp* make sense! Like Hitmonlee, or Machamp, or not Mewtwo.

I just... can't wait for the Halberd stage. Looks simple yet... fucking awesome.

Also after watching the video, does anyone know what game the castle level is from? I am thinking of Fire Emblem for some reason since its being sieged, but... I'm not too sure...

What's wrong with Mewtwo? Mewtwo was fun as hell to play. He sucked, but he was fun.

Plus they can always tweak characters.

If we work on the assumption that everyone in Melee makes it in... 4 Pokemon is enough, no?

I rather expected some characters to be removed, though. I saw no credit information for Intelligent Systems, so Marth and Roy seem off.

Everyone seriously needs to keep their cocks in their pants.

The Q&A with the press after the unvieling of SSB: Brawl

More importantly, this one part:

"Will the game take advantage of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection?

Mr. Sakurai: One of the primary reasons that this game was even created was because Nintendo staff said that when taking the console online, probably the best title to do so would be Super Smash Bros. Because of that, we're going to try very hard to do that. But, at the same time, I think it would be a lot of work for us to allow four players to play simultaneously and try to find out who's number one. So, we're mainly focusing on bringing multiple people together to play simultaneously in perhaps new and different ways."

...No! We only want to fucking kick each other's asses, okay?!
Seems like we might not even get that!
Why are Nintendo's abilities to make online games so bad?
Sure, they havn't been working in the online department for long, but plenty of 3rd party titles on X-Box seem okay with online.

Speaking of more bad Nintendo internets...

Great...just great.

Off-topic, but IGN says Red Steel's control scheme pretty much sux.
Also, seeing the vid of Metroid Prime 3, the control scheme looks crap.
...I thought this controller was designed with FPS fans in mind...

Well, even if the online gaming was one on one, it wouldn't matter too much in serious competitions as most tournaments I seen is usually 1 vs 1 anyway.

I never saw a problem with friends codes. :/ Seems just be a way to save their ass from problems. :/ Besides, didnt' everyone shun the control scheme for the Metroid game for DS when it's demo was released, but it became much better when it finall was released? (besides, I heard great things about the controller and how it was used in Zelda, with just a few minor problems that probably will be fixed in time.)

I could see charcthers like Pichu gettign the shaft too, if they had to remove any. Then, they might keep all of them, which could be crazy decision from a balance perspective.

I believe these are the movie credit, no the actual game credit, since removing Marth and Roy would be stupid by seeing how much the rocked in SSBM

If they do keep all of them, they'll probably tweak the weakest ones a bit, as well as the ones that dominated the tournament scene. I mean, it's not like characters didn't get changed going from SSB to SSBM.

Ailure: You see, the shitty thing is, is that we might not even get to challenge each other 1-on-1! They're having a hard time with it, and at the current time, they're working on different multiplayer modes.
Maybe a co-op...
I too wouldn't care if it was just 1-on-1. Just a chance to see how well I fare(fair?) against you guys is more than plenty! Here's hoping!

Alastor: I was abit worried about how different the Wii's version would be in comparison to Melee. So far, none of the game mechanics seem changed, which is a relief.
Sure, we're playing the same game, only upgraded...but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

One thing I've noticed, is that Link's Down + A sword move doesn't allow you to bounce after landing a hit. Everyone has, at least once, used that Down + A move to bounce on the same (or multiple) targets 3 times. Can't do that anymore.

No biggie.

I say, keep Pichu and it's awesome smash down-a, just to keep some nice cheesiness in there. He's so fun to use in Hyrule Temple.
I'm really curious to see if there will be any new characters, besides the ones we just saw.

Except that Pichu's sda wasn't particularly good, and Hyrule Temple is just a crappy arena.

Noobie people tend to like it because it's harder to get knocked out of.
Me? I prefer the Final Destination stages, or that Majora's Mask one, with the Moon in the background.

And if they're having a hard time with it, then they're not very good developers. Seriously, there would be no excuse not to have some form of online play in there when you look at everything that's been done on the Xbox/360/PS2.

Large levels like that one could be fun, but they number of times my friend selected the level... now I hate it.

Seriously, it's like that Aztec level in counterstrike. EVeryone chooses it over and over again. Ugh.

It's not that it sucks because it's large, it sucks because it's poorly designed and makes matches there take way too long and gives a hilarious advantage to the speedy characters (especially those with projectiles).
