As for the map, I just thought it was intriguing, as those are "the numbers", and their coordinates are in the Pacific inbetween LA and Australia. |

...That is brilliant. The fact that they would incorporate the location in the numbers as well as everything else they mean... holy crap.  It confuses me a little, because I thought they were off track 2000+ miles... but I guess not.
And Nick beat me to it! I could have sworn that image had been shown before, but I couldn't figure out where. I looked around for it and saw that same picture. That makes me think that maybe the plane was PLANNED to crash on the island... but why? This show is amazing. |

| I was also reading about the various books/short stories shown in Lost.
One of them is An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, and while I hope the ending of that story isn't the important part, here's a quote I thought you might find interesting: "Overhead, as he looked up through this rift in the wood, shone great golden stars looking unfamiliar and grouped in strange constellations. He was sure they were arranged in some order which had a secret and malign significance. The wood on either side was full of singular noises, among which--once, twice, and again--he distinctly heard whispers in an unknown tongue." Another book shown was The Third Policeman, which I found this about at wikipedia: "Contributing to the atmosphere of illogic is a series of digressions and footnotes by the narrator on the subject of de Selby and his highly unorthodox theories (he believes the phenomenon of nighttime to be explainable as an accretion of 'black air'), as well as extended discussions of de Selby's various critics" |

| I have already decided to buy this season DVD's.
Simply because I haven't been paying attention to the episodes. Yes, I watch them but...the fact that nothing is really happening and the fact that the new episodes seem to come one week then two weeks later and such irks me. Last episode was good though. Mighty good. |

| Well, luckily for you, ABC has started putting their good shows online.
So... Spoiler:
My friends and I all figured that Michael was an other, but we totally did not expect him to shoot two people. I was expecting him to kill Henry, actually. And finally, someone got it on on the island! Ana Lucia will say she wanted the gun, but come on, she totally wanted to jump Sawyer's bones, too. There were some great funny moments in the show too, like Jin giving Hurley the thumbs up, and Locke saying to Jack "There's something I need to tell you..." All in all, one of the best episodes I can remember. |

Strangely enough I was reading an actress' bio when I found out what happened. I know Danielle has much to say. Almost went into hysterics after watching it.  |

| Yeah, why the hell does Echo think pushing the button is so important? Does he think that by pushing it they'll get another plane to fly by and be rescued? Also, I don't think Michael is an other, he's just doing what he thinks he needs to do to get his son back. And I don't think it's a trade of Locke for Walt, more like a trade of the other's being able to take everyone because they most definately have more than two guns, for his son. | |||

| Echo thinks the island is more than it seems because of the dreams he's having with his brother. Sort of like what Locke thought when he realized he could walk, and how Rose thinks the island is the cure to her cancer or whatever. I'm not too sure what to think anymore... I'll be so disappointed if the whole 108 minutes thing is just an experiment. There's gotta be more to it.
One thing I noticed, and Thoughtless can back me up on this because I IMed him right after seeing it... when they were watching the video in the ? hatch, does anyone remember seeing one of the Dharma instructors with a beard? He was a big guy, had the beard that the Others leader has, and has some general similarities in looks. Of course, the beard was brown then, but... my immediate thought was that it was him. Are the others somehow connected to the Dharma initiative? How are they? Course, I could be completely wrong, and it's not him at all. Also, I want to hug and punch Locke for putting that paper into the suction thing. Now they know that they found the hatch, and god knows what will happen to them... but they also know that people are there, which could lead to a rescue. Could. I was so disappointed that Libby couldn't mutter "Michael did it" instead of just "Michael." I knew he'd be an other when he returned, I called that long ago. But why nobody else even CONSIDERED such a thing... BAH. Stupid. Might have more to say later, if I remember more that happened. |
