3d mario plus a 2d orient platform... eh... it's okay.
I prefer the good-ol' allstar gameplay. That "new" Mario bros looks like 2d on vacation. Like a Yoshi's Story but with the Mario Bros. in it.

It would be so cool though if they would just remix some games minus the 3d hype. The series is losing it's edge.

As long as the gameplay is good, I couldn't give a shit about the style of graphics. As long as they're functional.

This guy is right. It's dififerent, but not wrong... Though I must admit that if the style was everything drawn with only blue solids with red outlines, and then quickly flashing between those two colors, that would be really annoying (and seizurific).

When I said I didn't give a shit about the graphics, I meant within reason. Seizure causing gfx are well out of the bounds of reason. I have actually played a game where the sprites were like that, except black, yellow and green. I felt the urge to wash out my eyes after that

Europe gets shafted yet again, the release date is June 30th. This is really pathetic, there is no PAL format to work with and it isn't exactly riddled with text for localization. They are doing this just to fuck with us.

Gecko: Even with little text, they still have to program in the languages and the language selection. Then test to make sure there's no bugs.

That shouldn't take over a month. And with a company such as Nintendo you'd expect it to get done in the actual development process. The release gap for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was 4 days.

So...

The game was leaked recently.

The game seems complete. You can apparantly play all the way through. You need to put it on a flash cart (compatable with the DS) in order to play it, but it works. Although it doesn't surprise me that it would get leaked. It's happened many times with many games before.

its pretty fun, ive completed three worlds so far. its pretty average difficulty. you do die sometimes, but i dont think ive ever had under ten lives.

A crying shame there STILL aren't any decent emulators for the DS...

I really want to play this. I like the graphics, and the gamplay looks tight from the videos I've watched.

I doubt this runs on any emulators. :\ Although if it DID, it doesn't rely on touch so a keyboard/joystick would be all you need. (Then again, DS emulation has taken some leaps and bounds recently...)

iDeaS gets a black screen, DeSmuME has a problem with SRAM so it won't run.

And based on the reaction I've read... it's FUN.

The trick is to stretch the word "level" to the point where it has no meaning.

, I finally found a movie showing the koopa suit in action, it can be found here(well... I've found it many hour ago, but couldn't post it 'cause I was banned)
and I finished to implent it in smb3, it even rebounce on wall and do the 'bump' SFX
