Still, neat schemes that are, at the very least, a breath of fresh air.

Yes, Celtic are my team and I think that's been made pretty obvious before.  It's Keane's favorite team so as long as he wants to talk and as long as we can negotiate a paycut, he's probably there.

I played Solomon's Club last night. I think another part of the "eh" factor comes from the fact that the levels aren't as big as in the NES version, so as a result the puzzle complexity takes a hit. But then again you don't need to visit the shop if you don't want to (and, of course, you can just spend the cash on 1-Ups and the upgrades). (restricted) |

If I had a PS2, I'd be getting it in a heartbeat... but I hear it's goooooooood. It's not overly long (hello, VII) but still has replay value and a bunch of optional stuff. Apparently it's not easy though. Based on what I've seen... if you either like the DW/Q series or you just want a really good RPG, then grab it. Might end up being the RPG of the holiday season.

I remember a year or so ago going to the EB at the mall here, and it was during Christmas. 4 people working, 3 of them female.

Granted, I didn't stick around to hear any of them talk about games, but I could see WHY they'd want to hire girls.

I could see some people maybe not being crazy about Lufia 1, but come on... LUFIA 2. Good soundtrack, good story, solid gameplay and tough puzzles, ANCIENT CAVE... |

Still... after reading descriptions of a few cutscenes in the game, it just makes the decision even more baffling. |

I haven't touched the GBC or GBA Lufias but I know that a lot of people are... kinda down on them. :\ That surprises me since GBA Lufia actually looked decent... I'll see eventually.

Hell, I saw a VERY cute girl on the subway yesterday, and upon further examination she was reading the Final Fantasy XI instruction manual. That's awesome and all, but I'm not going to base a relationship with a girl based on her gaming skills or lack thereof. She could play FFXI but be a total bitch, so...
