It's my worst haul ever, but I'm extremely greatful someone voted for me at all. I especially apprecate the 2 votes for "W00test male" my first ever. that made my day.

I'm also VERY glad that someone else got "best Writer", because my writing smells worse than me socks.

However, a shout out for local mod would have been nice

Oh I'm also happy athat you appreciate my advice, although this is the first year I've not got above silver. Perhaps I jmust stop the drinoing and womanising )(Lost votes for "Sweetest too I see...)

Congrats to all the winners. No awards for Femine this year, her influence must be on the wane

NE ways good fun as always

Anya - Good point

Ah well with you a married woman, I suppose this changed our entire dynamic and working relationship, no more illicit affairs in the boardroom, no more midnight serenades... and..

Ok so I'm deluded.

I'm actually a bit bummed out that I can't go, but I do intend to pay you a visit sometime - I just have to pluck up[ the courage to fly to the U.S (I think you kno why it still fills me with dread!).

NE ways we want, pics, lots of them

Wow, all the partners that some people have had on here at such a young age - makes me feel positively chaste.

I suppose it was because I was so uncool in school - few members of the opposite sex wanted to get to know me, although they have admitted since (all married BTW), that they found me "cute".

Phew! I wasn't expecting that many replies

Ok here goes...

From Thoughtless
"Do you believe in maintaining hope even when the situation seems dire or in common terms 'impossible'?"

- Maintaining hope is never an impossible task, ok sometimes it's buried under loads of different emotions, but from my experience - hope is a very stubborn thing, as well as troublesome. It takes a LOT to extinguish it... unless Paris Hilton becomes even MORE famous, then my hope in the human race is well and truly over.

"In relation, after how many rejections by the same girl should I person give up, even though I love her?"

- Depends on the girl, and depends on the rejection. For most girls, twice is enough. Once is a courtesy thing, and if the bloke is brave enough to ask again, then SOMETRIMES they find that cute and accept. Anything more than that might be considered stalking. It's bad news but you might have to accept thew fact that this girl you love just can't or won't love you back and the only thing you can do is move on. Only then she might see what she's missing Good luck!

From Shadic
"Ever considered dropping the 'L" in Elmo, so that you can be Uncle Emo?"

- Someone did once, and I had to have the joke pointed out to me. I don't think I'm THAT Emo, not anymore, unless I have a lot of Cherry coke and some form of alcohol. I've mellowed with age I think

From Danielle
"So uh... is this thread an ask ANYTHING thread?"
- Yep, anything goes. I'm very hard to shock

From MathOnNapkins
"Is there anyone you would love to kick in the genitals, given the chance?"

- LOL! Love this question, umm, no. not really. I'm generally a believer in the fact that the torture human beings can unleash on themselves is greater than any physical pain I could give them. Besides, isn't kicking a bloke in the groin the worst thing they could do to another bloke... apart from sleep with their girlfriend/mother/wife/little sis

Open relationships have always been difficult for me to accept, but I'm an old fashioned romantic soul, who's been cheated on a lot of times, so perhaps I'm biased. If it works for you, well good on you - I hope you two can eventually make it work when you find a way to be together - Trust though is what ALL relationships are based on, and I have a niggling feeling you may have irreperably damaged the trust you have in each other.

I agree though with what you say about being confident Snow, since being confident (online at least), and cutting down the self loathing, I've found that the opposite sex have taken a lot of interest in me - this usually contunies until I find out a) They have a boyfriend, or b) They see a picture of me. Someday I'll meet someone who's not shallow... at least I hope

As for any advice I can give anyone else about harbouring a broken heart - you can sit around all day and moan about how life stinks, but nothing will change untill you accept where you are, and get back on the very horse that's bolted (that's a questionable analogy, but you know what I mean). Get out there, see what life can throw at you, and if you STILL can't find anyone, it's not the end of the world! Relationships aren't what defines us, you can be a worthwhile and great person WITHOUT having a BF or GF.

Blmey, did I really just type that? Whjat a difference 2 years makes.

I am Ellis, hear me ROAR!!!!.... Meeeeow....

Sonic CD? It's almost the best 16-bit sonic ever..
Oh and if you're EUropean you can get SOnic Gems collection for the PS2. GO us.

That Said the Japanese/European Soundtrack >>>>>> The AMerican one. I have the Japanese OST with my FROM (I also own 2 copies of the game, but both have the inferior OST).

As for "poor design", nah it just gives you 2 reasons to play, that said most people still reckon that the Wacky Workbench level is the work of Satan.

I'm not sure if anyone else here has an Imode phone, but Sega Europe recently had a competition to find the best player of Imode Sonic in Europe, and although I wasn't THAT good, I am officially the best Imode Sonic player in the UK. (and 4th best in Europe)

I was wondering if anyone could beat me, You can copy the competitions conditions easily 0 you'll need a copy of Sonic 1 for the Megadrive/Genesis to play.

Here are the rules.

- The score that counts is your end score after Zone 2 of Green Hill Zone.
- You CANNOT enter the Special stage zone,
- At the end of Zone 2, in Green hill zone you get a 50,000 bonus for each life you have (you can have a maximum of 9 lives)

My Score? 575,400

The winning european score is 1,000,900 by a Frenchman.

I win 3 Sega games, and the French bloke wins 9 Sega games.

"How is the weather been this winter? Good in recent years? Or still the same stuff?"

- It's actuallyt getting milder each year. We only had one or 2 really cold nights, and only one day of snow.
Perhaps what they say about Global Warning makes sense after all...

Technically speaking aren't all LD relationships, ones with no physical sexuality (of course there are ways of overcoming that, but no actual physical contact occurs). If that's the case, then yes, it's possible. But I think eventually, for any romantic sort of relationship to last, then some sort of outlet for sexual feelings has to occur - whether that be by cheating on someone else or otherwise.

From Shadic
"What are your thoughts on The Flying Spaghetti Monster?"
- Ah that doesn't scare me, although I keep a fresh batch of Bolognaise sauce brewed up, just in case.

From Koneko
"Why don't you have a regular 'ask' thread?"

- I have in the past. but it bombs terribly, just wait till Anya gets back, tjis one will too

"Are we limited to one question per post?"
- Nope!

Koitenshin
"What do you think about the new holographic storage discs (300GB of storage)they are coming out with later this year?"

- It makes me wonder what you're going to use the storage for, plus I'm annoyed as it'll mean I have to buy all my DVD's over again (however having the Extended editions of LOTR on one disk will be pretty nifty). I'm also worried which one will win out of HD-DVD and BluRay.

From Ran-chan

"Are you an uncle IRL or do you feel that you´re like an uncle for the rest of the members here?"

- Nope, I'm not an Uncle in RL, not YET anyway, my sister wants to make a career for herself before kids, as well as the fact she's now single. I guess I DO think of myself as an uncle for the rest of the members here. I've been "Uncle Elmo" for over 7 years now online and the nickname began because I was an agony uncle back then dispensing advice for the local youth club magazine - (so my E-mail addy at the time reflected this). It's since sort of stuck.

I've just spotted a second hand Ipod in my local pawn shop for VERY cheap. It's a 60Gb model, (as it's thick), and looks like a 4th Gen model. Now how can I tell if it's an Ipod Photo/Video, is there anything on the back? Was there a non colour 60Gb Ipod? How do I tell them apart?

Ok, I want some advice from all you Stepmania fans out there...

1. How many songs is too much? I have 1,600 now, I'm not sure if I'll play them all within my lifetime, but damnit, I'm still on the hunt for bumperpacks.

2. I have Stepmania 0.9 alpha 19, is there any other fetures in an updated version?

3. What's he best announcer? I like Schitzkitty meself.

4. ANy decent themes out there? I've got the Default one, but surely, there must be better...
