So ...

I'm on my way to getting a level 100 Neko, then 200 ... etc.

Is it okay to abuse NIS games, or am I being a very very bad man? _¬

Heh.

In terms of Game Design, Westwood has thee absolute worst commercials I've ever seen:

*People holding videogame controllers while it looks like they're in Maya or 3D Max, etc* - "Can you believe it!? We get paid to play videogames!"

ITT tech has some cheesy commercials too, but it doesn't seem like that bad of a school. But if I ever want to take more Animation courses and Game Design I'll probably head to UAT in Phoenix.

Right now I'm just at a Community College, just taking it kind of slowly these Semesters, and getting basics out of the way.

The colors in America ... as in, white?

I think black is the only new one we'll be getting (at least soon), but I may be wrong. I'd much rather have the Teal one myself though.

Coldspyll: Not to point out the obvious, but its not like the people at EB Games know more than anyone else here. I've heard a lot of dumb things from people at Gamestop / EB Games, etc ... so yeah (just pointing that out, cause it just sounds like you're believing everything those guys are saying).

Anyways, I'll probably get both versions. I'll get the GCN version just in case the Wii remote features are a little tedious, or gimmicky. But who knows, maybe they'll make the game better?

Personally, I hope they do the two-tier dungeon system from Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past too. There's something undeniably Zelda-like about this arrangement.

I think what everyone, secretly, wants is a lightworld/darkworld... To see that working in glorious 3d would be mind-blowing :-)

That would be too awesome if they did that.

And yeah, they'e done the two-tier dungeon thing quite a bit, even for the first game. And it just does seem pretty Zelda-like.

I ... lay there, forever and ever.

Funny this kind of happened last night. I really hate it when its those nights when you literally get maybe 1-2 hours of sleep, if even that. But yeah, I don't do much. If its one of those long nights and its 4-5 AM or something I'll probably just get up like I normally would. But yeah, insomnia sucks.

Probably not, there's no such thing as a good trade in at gamestores. In my opinion ...

Anyways, Thex as I've said I've really been enjoying the game (here and the thread at XG), and I'd say the learning curve to the game is quite simple, its faster an easier to get into than most SRPG's I've played compared to FFT, the Tactics Ogre games, etc. I knew only enough about the first game to see returning (main) characters, but I've heard you'll miss out on some of the connections and continueing jokes.

Still, as some have told me you should pickup the 2nd one even if you're slightly interested. Who know's, maybe it'll pull a Disgaea and end up being extremely hard to find in the next year or so. Doesn't hurt to be safe I guess?

And yeah, I'm at 40 hours and I still feel like I'm being introduced to the game, still exploring classes and whatnot. So it'll definitely keep you busy for a long time.

Do it for the Prism Rangers. Do it ... for Justice.

Yeah, this game is pretty amazing. My only gripe is the washed up map system, no key, and its just not very detailed at all. A much more in depth map system like Metroid or Castlevania would've been pretty amazing.

Either way its still great, and I myself have found quite a bit of challenge in the game. Not necessarily through the levels, but the bosses are pretty tough so far (playing on Normal).

Even though I consider myself to be a diehard Megaman / Megaman X fan, I have honestly not played any of the Zero games, but I've heard plenty of good things about them. Hearing that this game ties in closely to them, I've been pretty interested in going back and trying to find some of the Zero games (guess I *could* emulate ...).

But yeah, those in fear of the touch screen ... its not used that much, at all. Basically close to never.

And visually, this game is up there with extremely detailed sprites and stuff.

I actually saw MMZ 3 and 4 a few days ago actually, both $20 each I think ...

I'm guessing they'd be worth picking up pretty quickly here.

What's a good level to start reincarnating then?
(assuming you've got the Mana for Genius)

I myself am just kind of blasting through the story right now. I'm at Chapter 11, pushing to 12 so I can get
Spoiler:
Flonne and Laharl

My most used characters are pushing 80, thanks to some bills and CoO1 (its fun to level from level 1, to almost 30 in one kill. Then just a few more turns to get into the 50-60's). And yeah my Adell is a powerhouse. Maybe because I've spent some time in the item world with his equipment, but with Vulcan Blaze he's amazing.

I have a 1700 something Neko, but have been pretty lazy to get one at 9,999. Also what would some of you say is the best course of action when I'm done using some of these Neko's? I reincarnated some of them into Mages and stuff.

I don't know, the guide makes it sound like you should wait to 9,999 if you want to be a real power (and they also make it sound easy to level up to that. But I'm sure that's part of the long process in getting tons of high leveled residents in Items, like they're saying having Nerds at 19988).

Hmm, does anyone know exacty how benefitual Felonies can be towards +exp?

I've only got like 14 or something on Adell, then a few randomly here and there for other characters (don't worry, I'll reincarnate to atone Adell when I'm ready to beat it).
