K remember that when wolverine came on nes he was 2 clawed becuase of his small stature and pixel size. But I went in an did 3 things(4 on the other)

1.logan when running he moves his head left to right

2.He has now has 3 claws, wich some what had to become a block of white mostly as the small pixel wolvie and his claws wouldn't look to great if they where large 3 spreaded from each other claws. But still it gives a good 3 claw look.

3. I tweeked his ears to be thicker, on the origional they are very thin, now they are thicker

4.And now the best part comes with the other one. I went in and made his siut the blue one I wanted the nes one to have while playing. I even added the claw stripes on his sides if you look carefully. Thank you Netsplit and Drjayphd for the help of making him blue.

Heres the link to the patches.

I know they aren't much a hack, but if you wanted to see wolverine in his blue siut on nes, now you can.

If you want it to be a tad better you might be able to help with finding the hex that make them anoyingly fllicker. Then I could turn it off, making them a tad more solid looking. Or it dosen't matter. I wish they made his claws visible when he runs, then it would been cooler. I couldn't add that either anyway as the the tiles are the same as when his claws are away, so he'd have his claws out all the time when running.

Also I might consider remaking the BG graphics all around if possible a little later on.

I'll post a pic or two shortly.

New shots

Might change the bricks if not too great

the flickering is a limitation of the NES. only 8 sprites can be rendered on each scanline per frame. to get around this, programmers cycle through the 8 sprites that are drawn on the scanline each frame, hence the flicker.
