I was with my Girl friend today, nothing out of the oridinary. We were in my room as always, chatting away and sneaking kisses in. Talking about money issues for college and the such. Next thing I know I'm in bed with her. It was that fast. I felt like I was on another plannet. Picking at various straps and clips. Trying to see what I could get away with. She let my have my way with just about everything. I could tell we both wanted the same thing to happen. I finally panicked and chickened out like a pansey. That is after removing her bra. She understood and didn't hold it against me. It's just weird. She is my first real girl friend (after various one weekers and chicks whos name I never want to mention or bring to mind, ever)

I'm just wondering. Did anybody else have this problem their first time having sex?

Dude, it's not a big deal. It's good that you didn't go any farther than you're comfortable with going. Don't worry about it.

Last time I was in a similar position I actually said no. It woulda been the first time for the girl I was dating then and I just didn't think it was the right time for it.

My actual first time having sex sucked. I was kinda drunk and it was with an ex-girlfriend. I wouldn't have done it sober, and I didn't really know what I was doing, and it was just bleh. Actually, none of the times I've had sex with someone I wasn't in love with haven't been that great. I guess I just don't really enjoy casual sex. When the person and time and place is right though... it can be really amazing.

So yeah, "chickening out" isn't a big deal. Better than going too fast. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Maybe you and she should have a talk about sex though.

Not really but I did get scared later.

I was having a shitty day. My best friend (now my fiance) asked me to come over and forget about what happened. I went to the basement to watch a movie and we tapped into alot of beer. I got drunk, so did she. We looked at eachother funny, I laughed and she kissed me for no reason. One thing lead to another and before I knew it, we were both naked. I remember hearing some moaning and feeling sweaty... other than that, it was a blur. I didn't talk to her for about 2 weeks.

I wouldn't feel bad about it. Having sex forever changes a relationship and would send signals to your gf that perhaps you're not interested in sending. Girls tend to become way more attached to you after that. Not to mention you've got the possibility of STDs (were you going to wear a condom? ), childbirth, and new emotional and psychological baggage to contend with in a relationship with sex.

I mean yeah... sex is great, but it's not something to be taken lightly like a lot of people want to believe.

Nope. First-time sex for a lot of people is like going swimming in cold pool. First you dip your toes in, then you slowly make your way deeper until finally the water is above your head. Me? I dove right into the deep end

My first time I regretted. It was way too soon and it only happened because he kept pressuring me and because I thought I loved him.

I got really paranoid and thought I was pregnant, despite the fact that he never ejaculated and we used protection, which caused me to miss my period. I got extremely attached to him despite the circumstances and he freaked out and pushed away. We broke up because it was too soon. For about a year afterward, I'd get flustered and start crying whenever a boyfriend did anything that might hint at anything beyond making out. As MathOnNapkins said, it brings a lot of potential problems and lots of emotional and psychological issues that you might not be able to handle.

Granted it was the first time for both of us and we've been involved on and off ever since (that's what that nice little attachment bit does, which is logical when you consider the biological function behind it). He's still my best friend and we're still dealing with the on and off dating because of the attachment. We both also say we regret the timing, but not the person.

Five minutes of fun can have years of consequences. Be careful regardless, but if you really care about her and about yourself, be especially careful. Don't feel bad and don't let it be an awkward situation for you.

My first time was pretty good, her parents were out of town... so we went to her house, I had bought condoms because I knew it was gonna happen any day (usually they throw you subtle hints), and so it happened. She had done it before, but apparently he had a small peener and she didn't realize sex could actually feel good, let alone feel. I was a rook at that stage, but buy now I am pretty much a sex god... Do I have the stamina of a porn star... meh, it's close... but I'm usually good enough to abide to the "Ladies first" rule.
