The water could use a new texture like the grass did.

I'd rather new brown stones than texture ._.

Can anyone give me their opinions: which look best? I'm fond of the bottom ones, but to some, they're too dark. I think the others are far too bright :E

could u lighten up the bottom ones a little? the top rocks look like theyll blend in too much with the background but at the moment the bottom are my favourite.

As for a water texture for my hack theres certain issues with the limit on animated tiles. If i do stick in a texture itll use up way too much space ive got to use for clouds, beach and torches in the overworld. Also at the moment animated tile speeds are all connected. The waterfall and flowers look fine but animated water looks way too fast.

I don't want to touch up the darker bottoms, since the bottom two 8x8 tiles are reused for both mountains (as in, to make the smaller one look better may make the tall one worse). But if that's the problem you're seeing, I'll work on it.

Once again i think the white is a little too garish.

Wow, really nice work. Considering the water is a wip, everthing blends perfectly to me. I don't think the water needs new textures but the white area's definately seem out of place.

Celice: The bottom ones in the first image are the best, in my opinion.

I think the gaps between blocks are a tad large, and on the right end, makes Row A look longer than Row B. And I prefer the second Twomp.

I love that lava.

The bricks are real nice, but you need to make side bricks, you know, specialy for the sides so it dose not look like it just runs off into nothing like that.
