well I just learn how to change colors in a game 3 days ago, so I want to work on this a lot more before I reveal any thing else.

But here's a clue as to what game it's from.

Update on my MM3 project again:
  • One more piece of content added to weapon menu

I just had to add the tradition image for the normal plasma cannon like in most all megaman games except 1-3 ...well now I've done it for 3.
  • Magnetman stage nearly finished, plus his AI modified. after that I'll finally have the first 8 primary stages complete ...with 5 more wily stage left to edit...and 2 doc stages
  • Coded a 2nd new item which is nearly finished.
  • A certain battle in the game will be signifanctly different which is what I'm working on right now and everything's going okay so far. Been spending the last 2 days on it.
  • And a MAJOR surprise in one of my stages I bet people will love to see. No spoilers
No new screenshots for the momment, sorry.

Snake Man's level in Mega Man 3 for Gameboy was always far, far superior to that in the NES version. I can't wait to see your level in action -- it looks great, even from the small cropped section in that screen shot!

  • Hey Kuja Killer, if you can take suggestions, could you change Dr. Wily's "Dr. W" logos into the Mega Man Powered Up version? Pictured below:

You can't tell due to the black background, but the inside of the circle is completely black.

Bah. MMPU's graphics are inferior to the NES MM graphics. Why would one ever want to make the NES MM graphics look like MMPU's?

kuja killer: I can't wait to try your hack out. It really sounds exciting.

I don't see what is wrong with the design in Powered Up. So what if they have smaller heads? They have thinner torsos and slightly bigger limbs too, and I don't mind, either. At least Guts Man is nearly the same physically, it's just that his legs shrunk:

There is nothing wrong with the graphics n Mega Man Powered Up. It is the graphics style that Capcom chose for the game, and I think they did a very good job. Capcom focuses on quality when they make their games, hence why most of their games are pretty good.

Well I went back to hacking Castlevania cause I had some free time. I just want to showcase a few things of what I've been experimenting with. For the most part I have been trying to create new intense challenges and editing the soundtrack. I've done some minor editing on graphics and secrets as well. Right now I can just showcase some of the challenging moments that occur in the game, as I'm trying to make life in the game difficult but fair.

This situation is not easy, Simon is floating back and forth on a platform and can only get cracks at the skeledragon when the platform gets close enough, plus he has to fend off occasional bats flying by in the process. The skeledragon can knock Simon off the plaform with his head if he stands on the front part when it is in closest range.

This is one is interesting. The goal here is to dispatch the pillar of bones first (because he's in the way) then move in on the two other guys. Simon will need to find away to dodge and counter all three of them at once- two from the front and one from above.

Ok... you have to jump over this guy at the right time and you have to take into account when he will fire and the medusas flying at you...

...and if you make it, you'll have to think fast because you'll be sandwiched between two bad guys.

The infamous grim reaper and his hatchets, if you made it this far pray you be sharp. In this setup you can clearly see him try to sit on you. When he swoops down you will have to find ways to clear space in those steps.

This is Simon taking a stroll in the park with his buddies. The dead tree things in the background are my first attempt to bring graphics from another game into this one. Problem is when they are sitting next to each other they are holding hands!

Well, I'm coming near done with this thing and it'll likely be complete sometime soon.

Looks a little too frustrating for me, and I'd go so far as to consider myself an expert CV1 player.
