1. Patch the Demoworld 3 IPS (the one that I posted in this thread) to a normal SMW Rom (about 513kb in size)
2. Then Patch the SMB1 Music IPS to Demoworld 3 (the hack that you just created from step number 1).

If this works, you will hear the SMB 1 Underwater music in the Intro Level (Level # C5), not the Title Screen. It's the Level in which the game Welcomes you to "Dinosaur Land" (The Level that has the message that automatically appears)

BTW: Make sure the .msc file (it comes in the .Zip file that I've provided, and it has a Hammer Icon next to the File's name) has the same name as your Rom (just the Name itself, not the extension). If this is done correctly, you will be able to see the Full List of Song names when looking through the Song List in Lunar Magic.

I haven't read all the way down, so I don't know this, but does it have the SMB3 Music in it too? And do I have to delete the file that's named Super Mario World SMB3.msc?

Sometimes, when you go through scrolling pipes, you get crushed between walls, or you fall through the ground. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am starting a hack called Super Luigi World. I got only two screenies because I haven't done any levels yet.

http://www.freewebs.com/timdevril/downloads.htm
Sorry I put a link in. I can't find a site to upload pictures and then link to them without the links being broken

More screens coming soon.

dang it, the link's broken. I will fix it soon

Once you do, please post screens. There are a few Luigi based hacks, but it should be ok as long as you do a little something to make your Luigi stand out, make him different in some small way. Even just a Luigi palette change, like a blue green outfit would be enough really. It's you hack though. Can't wait to see some of it.

And use Photobucket.

--------------edit-----------------
Just went to your site to see your photos, I have cable internet, and it took a bit for those screens to load up. You really need to get into the habit of saving your pics in PNG format. It's the best, smallest, lossless format, and it's perfect for screenshots, they take up very little room, and load up fast.

as soon as I get levels done, I will post more shots, and I will use PNG format.

EDIT
I made Luigi's clothes a bit darker, and maybe I will make them turquoise, who knows.
EDIT2
Made them turquoise

I'm no good with editing GFX, at all. If I had a decent tutorial, though, I might be able to.

EDIT
Probably not, because I'd be copying from Luigi's Adventure
EDIT2:
I could change the sprites just a tad, if I get the pallette right in tile ed 2002

Hey! Here's "Super Smallhacker World"! So far, I changed the S in "Super" on the title screen to a sunken ship. It doesn't look nice, but I've got 3562 screenshots in case somebody's interested.

actually, that is kind of stupid

Problem: Whenever I try to load a pallette into tile ed 2002, It freezes and closes down. What should I do?

EDIT
oh and, nothing is changed except for the pallettes, Mario's GFX, and level names. Levels too in case you didn't know

I've gotten all the world names!
Yoshi's Paradise
Nostalgia Hills
Ice Cave
Butter Bridge (Suited it best)
Swiss Cheese Bridge (Lot's of Holes)
Forest of Illusion (Couldn't Change. any Shorter names?)
Chocolate Isand
Bowser's Land
Moon Street (the portals)
Moon World
Super Mario 64 2D Remakes (Special)

All the castle are now called Koopa Kastle then the number of it,
Switch Palaces are numbered, and they play a big role in the game.

The game is really cool, but it slows down once in a while because of too many sprites.

1.How the heck do I add exits, and where do they lead?
2. Whenever I try to load a custom pallette in Tile Ed 2002, it freezes. How do I fix this error so I can edit the sprites?

whenever I try to change the music for the boss battle with Bowser, it plays the underground music from SMB2, then the Desert Land song from SMB3, and the the castle theme from SMB1! How do I change this?

good idea. Better to wait than screw up the whole game trying to fix it. By the way, any idea at all when a music editor comes out?

i used a tile editor and put it in the game, so when you do a wheelie, it does a nose wheelie instead. Pretty easy actually, I'm just saying that I've done it

I'll get right to the point. I accidentally saved my level to the Yoshi's House level, and now, when I set everything up correctly for GFX, Yoshi's House is still screwed up! What should I do?
