Link to image. (Image edited to protect... stuff. We all gotten spam at one point or another, I recently got one trying to steal my banking information from a bank I don't go to. I almost deleted it when something got my I. The E-mail wasn't even addressed to me, it was addressed to someone with a simular address. Why did this even end up in my bulk inbox if it wasn't my addressed to me. |

Well I'm not disputing whether or not it's spam. I'm wondering how can it be sent to me if the addresses in the "TO" field didn't match with my actual address.

They call Link a cowboy because sheppard doesn't have much of a meaning in Japan. Doesn't anybody think they'll change this in the US version?

I have pretty much the same problem as you, but when I upgraded my Video Card, VBA just a faster. 60FPS (no frameskip) used to produce speeds of 35-50% percent, now it's 50-65 percent. (edited by Ten on 05-29-05 08:36 PM) |

You have to wonder if companies are going to make "Retro console" games for download. Like extra levels or newly made NES/SNES games entirely. Maybe unreleasted games too. Mmm, Starfox 2... |

We think about it. When N64 was out, there was the GBC, when the Cube came out, there was GBA, now there's the DS with the Revolution not far behind. Think of it as a promotional tool. Story fillers, simple contests, etc. Developers could use old paltforms for simplistic gameplay, going back to two dimisions. And think, they could the DS as special controller for the online play. As these new fingled controllers are complacated for most 2D games, with the touch pad it becomes less. As funtions there can be clearly stated at times, unlike "USE L1 TO ADJUST YAW" which would be restricted to being stated in booklets and training levels. Heck the touchpad could be used to as a key board for old games converted for online play. What I'm saying is, Nintendo has stayed off the online bandwagon, I don't think it's going to avoid pulling out all the stops now that it is. (edited by Ten on 06-04-05 08:25 PM) |

Show us when you're done. And email me when you do. I have a very short attention span and this is one of the three boards here that I freqently visit due to... shear bulk.

Most GBA games were designed with adjustible configs in midgame though.

I had to manually download that sound byte with Net Vampire because it was looping in mid play. Did anyone have this problem?

Yes, appently faith in God makes up for not knowing how to use the transparent color. ... Anyone else finds it strange how in Spritual warfare that you can get power ups by trading in your faith in God. "Believe in Satan, and you will be able strike down the sinful heathens in the name of the LORD!!!" |

Just post something random about science. Mirrors. The reason why text is flipped in a mirror is not because the light is the horizontal is reversed but because the spatial is reversed. If you look in the mirror that's north of you, you see the light that bounced off of you that was going north but then started going south because of the mirror. So text along with everything is no longer being seen at its "angle of intent." For proof, find something transparent to write on it with a marker (plastic wrap or a cut-out from a clear plastic bag will do) and write your name on it. Take it to a mirror and look at it in the mirror with the side you wrote on facing you. The mirror will reflect the side you didn't write on. |

How you ever been got mad at an Emulator and just say "to hell with the bluit-in config, I'll make my own!" To talk about. My controls are: Direction pad, numpad 1,2,3 and 5. (This is mainly because my left arrow key only responds 75% of the time, it also lines up my wrists.) Face and shoulder buttons, Z, X, A, S, Left Ctrl and Left Alt. (On VBA, R and L are ctrl and alt as my Keyboard won't allow the use of more then two letters at the some time.) Start and Select, Numpad Enter and 0. (So I don't have to move my wrist to pause.) Misc emulator funtions (when adjustible) State save: Numpad Decimal (.) State load: Numpad Divide (/) State select: End (On VBA it's a mix of managing what's currently in State #1, as VBA is fully customisible but lacks a State select feature. Every state has it's own key.) Backround select: Key pad 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. (On VBA, it's Shift+whatever) Channel select: The funtion keys (not set on VBA, as the funtion keys load and save states.) Fast forward, slow mo and rewind: Numpad +, -, * (Any idea why fast forward in Fwnes is the ~ key?) Frame skip: ZSNES: Left and right arrows, VBA: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with out shift. |

Originally posted by Colleen Was Actraiser apart of that or was it just and Enix title? ... Oh yeah, and Actraiser. Sidescoller blended with a city sim. Not Actraiser 2 though, that game sucked. One thing about Soul Blazer I've got a say though is that it's the only overhead sword-fighting game I know of where the you stay right-handed, reguardless of whether you're face left or rigth. |

Okay... I though HyperHacker's config would cramp my hands together. Colleen, How are suppose to move and shot at the same time? You forgot to specify what your D-pad was.

Well you can use Alt pretty easily reguardless of what emulator you're using. On VBA going full screen and hitting escape removes the menu from the top of the screen. On FWNES the menu is disabled complete when going full screen. On Zsnes its custom menu doesn't make it an issue at all. (Note on VBA: Alt+X is VBA's close shortcut, this can be disabled though the customize menu if you plan to use both Alt and X in VBA.) Edit: I made a mistake earlier. I use FCE Ultra, not FWNES. It played alot like and looked RC Pro-AM. You drove on unconventional tracks with traps and stuff. You picked a driver, each one from a different planet. Ring any bells? EDIT: That's supposed to be racing game, not racist game, sorry ; (edited by Ten on 06-20-05 12:55 AM) |
