We all know that computer data is a bunch of on ond off switches represented by ones and zeroes. But one thing I've always wondered is how the computer is suppose to know what all these switchs are supposed to mean in the first place. But every time I ask this no one gives me a actual answer to it. Does anyone know the answer to this? And yes, I already know that ones and zeroes are the same as the north and south points of a magnet, that doesn't answer my question though. Well that answer is the straitest I've gotten so far but it's a bit too simple. By the way, My sig shouldn't be double spaced like that, I think edit mode must of done that. |

I used to go to download dot com to get programs but with the thread of spyware I don't trust it's content anymore. So does anyone here know of any good freeware programs that I can use to create midi files?

I can't find anything for Windows that's even beta. A program called Jazz++ catchs my eye but it's still in it's alpha stage (a trim I learned when I couldn't find an .exe file.). I could always wait for Audacity to come out with full midi support but I don't have any idea how that part of delevopment is going. But I'm starting to wonder, if you don't have a .exe file for the code you're making, how do you test it? |

Well I don't have a printer so that's not a problem. But isn't save disabled completely after the trail period?

Compile huh... ... Nope, I have no idea what that means. Anywhoo, I've downloaded Noteworthy Composer and I'm just going to play with that for now. Hopefully the dreaded 10 times save limit will not pervent me from making my MIDI OF DOOM! Or something of that nature. |

My theory about Metroid Fusion is that the person you played wasn't Samus at all. She was a highly advanced clone of Samus made from her's, parasite X's and metroid DNA, being tested at the expence of the BSL lab and its employees. I also theorize that Zero Mission never happened. It was a (poorly) consturcted memory made for the Samus clone. Made from mission reports of the two Zebes missions. I theorize this because of these conflicting elements: 1: Superficial texture changes of the terrain. 2: The ship belongs to the space pirates, in Super Metroid, it belonged to an unknown factor and was of differant design. Plus events in Zero Mission contradicts its existence in Super Metroid. 3: There was no fake Kraig in Zero Mission. 4: MISSILES DO NOT HAVE TO HIT A BRAIN IN THE OPEN EYE TO HURT IT, that's just poor physics right there. |

Well the ice beam and the wave beam do sound impossible at first. But then again, so does using radio waves to heat up your food. Anywho, this thoery is just my way of coping on how Nintendo retooled a classic. That's all.

I use a program called animagic. However, if I want to save in it, I have to set my clock back to 1995 because of a evauation timestamp in it. Does anyone know of a simpler way to do this by the way. I dont' actully know where the timestamp is by the way. Reinstalling doesn't work at all and I'm not sure when in 1995 I'm suppose to set my clock back. I played Sonic CD, IT WAS THE SHIZZNAT! I even found the hidden bonus stage. Along with the other secret stuff that I don't really remember that well. I remember a part of Sonic 3 that drove me and everyone else I knew nuts. It was the near the end of the first level with these breakable looking rocks cutting off a part of the stage. And no matter what you did, you couldn't brake the rocks, they were just unbreakable. Then you found out about it was for Knuckles only. |

This one's the mack daddy of them all. It might look like a regular movie at first but it has moments of interactivity. The zip file also comes with a HTML file with the movie embeded for computers without a flash player. Troubled Windows.Zip (7,681 KB) (edited by Yomiko on 04-04-05 07:03 PM) |

I don't know, I would of looked up the source code on the page to try and find a direct file URL but my HDD is jampacked as it is so I didn't bother. ... After looking up some of the old Zelda cartoons I'm starting to see why I had a unrealistic size prosective of swords when I was a child. And why I thought swinging with them wouldn't be effective against monsters. And why I thought it would be okay to be a horny little jerkhole to women. |

Originally posted by Trapster I could try to record the music with a microphone, I've got audio software to filter out unwanted backround noise and make a seemless MP3 (I've done this before) but posting it would be problem for me. I could try to email it to you trapster. Would that be okay. (Please specify Bitrate if yes.) |
