Aww... C'mon you guys. Bowser is the best bad guy ever! He's like that kid you all knew at one point in school where you weren't sure if he was your best friend or your worst enemy. Plus, his Bowser's bully-like sense of humor is golden!
Bowser rox my sox!

Paraplayer, I hear where your comin' from.

I set out to finally once and for all beat Majora's Mask when I finally got the collector's disk, but I found that the sound distortion between map transitions was noticable but tolerable. When the slow downs happened I grinned and beared it, but when my GAME CRASHED I gave up!

Sense the system of saving in Majora's Mask is so screwed up where you can't save every minute to prevent data lost, I think I ended up having to redo half a dungeon 'caz of the crash!

I finally gave up playing Marjora's Mask on collecter's disk. I hated that game anyway... Stupid paralell universe...

Sweetness! I've used Bryce before. It seems like a great introduction to 3-D developement and animation. Rock on and fiddle with options and stuff. You'll never know what you get.

Erm... Your just now buying a GameCube? The next generation systems are right around the corner, just to let you know... Revolution will play GameCube games. Well, anyways, yeah. I've played Metroid Prime for about 20 minutes, and its worth it. Get a guide or look one up on the net, though.

Man, I have a couple of characters I like to play, but with Zelda/Shiek I can kick arse. After that is like Bowser. Yeah, he's more fun to handle.

A friend told me that Minish Cap is the last top-down style Zelda game. Do you guys know if this is true?
I suppose it'd be a relife in some places as not to have anymore Zelda games not take full advantage of the system. If they were to make a Four Swords DS I'd cry out of horror. No more top-down means 3-D Zelda for the DS!
Although their would be some disadvantages. Classic style never dies. I guess it'd be sad to see the end of top-down Zelda. It would kill the GBA Zelda franchise. We'd have to get our 2-D Zelda fix from eBay or ROMs.
Prolly just a rumor about no more top-down Zelda games. Even if it is, I just hope that Nintendo will keep 2-D for the GBA and 3-D for DS... Although a Four Swords might be cool...

Heya! Welcome to Acmlm's Board! Good luck with your ROM hacking, and a word of advice: If you do a layout, don't use bright colors. The mods will nail ya'! I say that out of experience.

I guess a 2-D Zelda game for the DS is going to happen, but I wish Nintendo would at least release an Ocarina of Time remake. I'm really partial to the 3-D Zelda games 'caz thats what I grew up with before I even knew about the old Zelda games.

Wow! I'm playing through Minish Cap right now, and I'm already done with two dungeons! I thought they'd have some sort of gimmick to draw out the game longer! Noooo!

Anyways, remakes have the 1 or 10 essence. Either it can be really bad or really good. Things like the Classic NES series kind of weird me out... There's nothing added to the game. But Super Mario 64 DS really rocked my socks. It took a great game and made it even better.

I'm hoping for 3-D Zelda remakes for the DS 'caz that all Nintendo will probably be doing for awhile. With their Revolution coming out, they are probably designing a Zelda for that, and they still have Twighlight Princess on their back.

Lets hope Nintendo finds an even balance between releasing 2-D and 3-D Zelda games.

I've mostly played remakes/ROMs/arcades of NES games, but Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda were really awsome. The save feature in Zelda was revolutionary! It meant that gamers could actually take breaks to go potty instead of damaging their health waiting for Mario to find the darn princess!

They are getting smarter! Everything was loosey-goosey last generation (meaning X-Box, PS2, Gamecube). People were, and still are, having a field day playing NES and surfing the net using Linux on their freakin' Xboxs. Game companies know about this now, and are doing EVERYTHING to stop it.

The PSP for example has very tight security on American models. A couple days ago an exploit was found, but as soon as it came out, Sony released a system update that tightens the security even more, rendering the exploit useless.

The war will rage on. We'll see what guns Nintendo has to keep ROMs off of the Revolution. Hopefully we can match 'em.

Oh yeah, Paraplayer. You've brought this up with me before. I agree with you, man. Randomness isn't real. Different things around things effect its outcome.

Say someone decided to twirl around in a chair. This wasn't a random thing to do. That person could've decided to do it because he was bored or drunk. Okay, now the chair stops at the end of the twirl. Did it stop in a random place? No. Gravity, force, and other types of energy helped make 'nature's decision' of where the chair stopped.

The above can be applied to anything... A random number a human choses, the lotto number, the outfit you pick out, ect.

Nonrandomness in humans could be what seperates us from computers. Lets say randomness ONLY existed in computers. If you tell a computer to pick a random number, it will. No deciding factors... No gravity, no hand to grab the clothes.

But what if there were these deciding factors? Why is it that some computers take 5 minutes to boot up The Sims 2 while others take 2? Are the deciding factors the parts of the computer? The motherboard? The harddrive? The 'random' number it picks could depend on these things, however illogical it may seem.

Hey! http://www.ambientdesign.com/artrage.html
This is a link to ArtRage, the program I use to create my 'virtual paintings.' It is more of a dumbed down version of Corel Painter, but its free!

Anyways, here's some of my works...

This was my first ever attempt with the program. I think it turned out quite nicely. Its called Mountainous Grasslands!

A reverse sequel of sorts to Mountainous Grasslands. This one is called Snowy Daze.

Ahh, yes. Here's one. Fleurs is a painting I used for a Mother's Day card.

This one is quite awsome. I just call it Tree.

My latest work of art. Arch In The Park was colored by single dots, a style used by real artists.

Thats all I'm gonna post here! If you wanna check out more of my stuff, go to http://www.snika.deviantart.com/. It won't have most of the stuff here 'caz the site has been acting weird lately.

Please post feedback and comments here!
Peace!

Not true. The numbers computers choose are not random, but predetermined.

Thats what I was kinda goin' for in my next paragraph about deciding factors in computers.
