Yeah, i have all 3 pages of it, somewhat outdated though--
The page jumping links in the MHT files won't work either, so don't rely on them! heh.
(Yeah, sorry about that, them being MHT Files, heh)
I'm much too lazy to post the data myself, i'll let someone else do it.

Links:

Pg. 2: http://alaricx.port5.com/smw-m-2.mht
Pg. 3: http://alaricx.port5.com/smw-m-3.mht

I'm uploading these as i speak [post], so don't expect immediate results, :-P

Hmm, check out the colors on the overworld around the castle (the square blocks).. In your screenshot they look off-colored...! Otherwise, It looks good!
Also, a bit of thing on the overworld -- I'm picky about that stuff, just thought i'd point it out to you...
Missing a bit of "Water-Edge" tile somewhere,

Heh, i had that same exact problem -- though i put the events in the right order.. here's what you do.. use the "Destroy Level Tile Settings" or like Menu item [IIRC].
Edit: Eh, all i did was overlook that menu item when i made my mistake, :-P

You know, you don't have to take the offensive towards someone because they left out a few words when they were reading your post. Get a clue, nobody's perfect. I should indeed slap YOU for that comment, because you seem to think everyone [or at least I] read(s) everything perfectly and understand(s) it the first time around.
Not going to go on about it..
On another note, Thanks for telling me that i didn't read it right.

Umm, ForteZero.. You're a newcomer too, i wouldn't be talking like that -- Experience does not denote knowledge or skill, but posting ability. And if LE can't expand it, how did you, huh, huh? Maybe Stryker was a high poster before "Erasure", but i don't know.. You see what i'm getting at, right? I hope so.

Did this happen to all the levels [with bypasses]? I've had no problem with Exporting and Importing into a clean ROM [Yeah, I did the same thing.. cut down my IPS by 100k], but i only had Two levels.. Both using ExGFX.. Heh..
It just doesn't like you .

Posted on 04-17-04 03:42 AM, in BitBlt and AutoRedraw [VB] Link
To avoid asking on IRC, where flames are more quick to come than on a forum, I've decided to ask here:
How do i get an Image BitBlt'ed onto a picturebox's DC to remain, for a level editor for Mario (TI-85) to work correctly, or At least how do i get an event to fire every time the form is returned focus (to redraw the image) (Activate doesn't work, i've tried GetFocus, etc.)? AutoRedraw does not work (of course, it's being unset before and set after the drawing)..

Thanks In Advance!

You know what...
I can't believe that i missed that!
Of course, i rarely (if ever) use Paint Events, so that's why it slipped my mind...

Well, to say there is no help file is not entirely true.. There is no blocktool .hlp (I could write one, i'll ask JW, though i doubt...), but check out the Text Files in the blocktool folder (you know, the notepad icons or the ones that end in .txt)
*Alaric coughs.
Therefore, stuff SHOULD be explained in there.

Draw on a buffer in memory? I.e. Create a new DC, draw on it, copy the contents to the picturebox's DC?
I did notice that before i put the redraw code in paint(), i'd switch focus quickly and click Re-Render, get nice divided copies of whatever was in the tile area's place, but oh well..
Thanks for the help, and i'll consider only redrawing when my form has focus, thanks.

Yeah, it's changing the code of the game to suit your needs, 65c816 or such ASM.. If you're new to this i wouldn't go near it if i were you. There are some who know how to do it, yeah, but it'd probably confuse a newbie. (No offense)

Well, with gravity blocks -- the general idea's already been done.
I know it's not the same type as you describe, but there is Some type of gravity block, BMF made it. IIRC (too lazy to open the readme) there are 3 configurable blocks and one normalizer. You'd have to get info from him, er.

As i said, HH, i know it's not the same type he's talking about, i just thought i'd bring it up, i'm aware of the general point of the topic -- it could have some pertinence, though i doubt it. Though, i would like to see the blocks described come to fruition.

Well HH, i'd suppose you'd know that the "Change max 6x6 area" dialog is accessible through the overworld editor, Overworld menu. It's to make more room for 6x6 event tiles in the designing of an overworld, in case you need them.
-and-
the Remap Color thing is accessible in the 8x8 editor, "Map Col." button. Mass-change the colors in a tile to another, i suppose you know?
