OK, I saved the image in 16-color PCX in PSP8, and it won't work. Any suggestions?

Aha. Thought it'd be something like that. Unfortunately, I have, to use a phrase often used in the sonnets of William Shakespere, "No fucking clue" how to do it. Is their any specific version of ZSNES I can download, and how would I work this miracle of... um... disabling buttons?

He's like the Diet-Coke of BARFing.

Made for a SMW rom hack. Edited from the map sprite in "Downtown Special - Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki Dayo Zenin Shuugou!"

Who isn't here?

And yeah, this sprite's in the game. Here's an example of "Super Alex", which is just the RCR-EX sprite.

Just to show off my pallete editing SKILZZZZZZZZ.

The basic plot at the moment is that Alex is trying to save my ROM folder from the Interweb Police, so a few levels will prolly have RCR stuff.

I talked about this a bit in Modern Art after showing off my Mini-Kunio sprites, so...

STORY (subject to change)
Once upon a time, there was a ROM folder on a computer.

And it's inhabitants were happy, well-fed and treated well.

Unfortunately, as with most harmonius things, a form of oppressor must emerge. This arrives in the form of the dreaded Interweb Police. These dark troopers serve and protect those on the Internet, and upon finding this ROM stash, take over it, possessing the strongest inhabitants and marching the smartest into camps to be returned to their copyright owners.

But one character manages to escape the forces, and decides to fight back.

WORLDS (subject to much change):
World 1: The Gameboy Folder
World 2: The NES folder
World 3: The SNES folder
Special Zone: The Outskirts
World 4: ????

SCREENSHOTS (of what little work I've done so far):
The first Gameboy ROM. Look familiar?

The Construct. This dark, empty place is in place of Yoshi's House at the moment.

I'll edit this post when I do more screens and change info.

And no, the levels won't ALL be crappy rebuilds of other games' levels. It'll be about an even balance, I guess.

If you have any suggestions, please, fire away!

I was thinking of having a N64 game as one of the very last levels, but I'm not sure, hence the "???" for the last world.

GBA, probably as bonus levels along the way.

EDIT:

This I'm tossing up on. I may do some small mods here and there, but otherwise I'm going to try and keep each level somewhat true to the originals.

Well, until I inevitably run out of free ExGFX space anyway.

It COULD be a Windows GUI, if I could figure out how to work the OW editor at all. I'll learn it all.

In the last boss battle in SML2, I somehow got stuck in the roof until time ran out in one of the small corridors between rooms. Was I ever pissed.

Still, good game.

Isn't that one of the signs of the apocolypse?

Oh, and yeah, my browser couldn't get to it either. Then it was up shortly thereafter. It's just downtime, lots of major sites have it periodically
But, like, Google's never down. That's one of the four qualifications for interweb armageddon.

1.) Google goes down
2.) Microsoft releases a product as abandonware
3.) Sega announces something worthwile
4.) Megatokyo becomes worth my reading

Atma's first release was kinda like "Oh, that tileset's kinda cool... wha... what the fuck? Who made this shit, and where does he live? INFIDEL! DEATH TO THE AMERICA!"

Wario's hacks are kinda like "Ahahahahaha... oh my."

And for the record, Wario was banned due to some HTML fucking alongside being a pest, and EYE was banned due to some drama somewhere around the board.
