I'll check out that wall thing. And the teleporter problem is because of how I did it (invisible doors). The fact that the teleporter is crossing the border between two screens probably doesn't help.

Oops, forgot to do that, because I never play two player. I also forgot to change the overworld Mario sprite, you'll notice.

No we don't! I want a perfect editor! This is big business and it's nothing like the Mario sprite configurator! It like, bypasses the whole outlining of the game mostly! One or two mess-ups and it's bye bye edit! Or worse, bye bye computer!!!!!

That would work. Also, why not place them in as "powerups"?
Now there's an idea - Make Fire Flowers always come out of their blocks instead of mushrooms regardless of Mario's status, and make them play a sound and set the "Got Midway Point" flag or whatever when obtained. Anyone know ASM?

Or you could change file address 0x74E2 to 0x80, which would prevent it from giving you a powerup when you hit the midway point.

OK, the last thread kinda veered off course, as it went away from just showing the first early shot to a massive hype machine. So we may as well start from scratch.


This is the new level I'm working on, it's obviously less detailed then the others, but it's themed on the best game to ever grace the Master System, so it can't be bad.
