Ah, that guy is Tion Medon, which will be, if spoilers may believed, a good guy...
Like I said before, General Grievous is not seen in this teaser, and he's a kind of droid .

Yeah, except for the eyes, and maybe some other things who are more humanoid.
He looked cool in the Clone War animated series, but I dunno if he will be cool in the movie, hopefully he won't be some bad done CGI character .

There seems to be a big problem with my database, dunno what or how, I didn't change any file before it happened.

Posts don't show up anymore, PM system is down and other database stuff don't work anymore.

When I want to look up certain data in the database, I get this error:

Got error 127 from table handler

Edit:
This is another error I get, while trying viewing a table:

Can't open file: 'battles.MYD'. (errno: 144)

Error

Duh! Because we're bigger SW fans

The second trailer should be around next week btw!

Posted on 04-12-05 07:28 PM, in Wrong path Link
I remember you had to enter a path to the board in one of the earlier versions, but I can't seem to find that now (in config.php??).

All the paths are wrong now, I installed it, but the headlinks are all wrong.
Instead of for example "http://www.sitename.com/board/register.php", it is "http://www.sitename.com/register.php". that counts for every link.

I entered this in config.php:
$siteurl="http://www.yourspace.be/~swbhg/board/";
Dunno where else I have to put the path.

That was the problem, I couldn't register since the path was wrong.
But yeah, easy to fix, I entered the base path in PhpMyAdmin, everything works now fine .

Perhaps a little bug?

I've already searched around on a few PHP tutrials, but didn't really find clear answer.
What I wanna do is something like Jesper's previous custom titles.
A text made from PHP (with that GD thingy).

I also want to use it for displaying emails etc.

Doesn't really matter who it is, they're all bad in their own way anyway.

You'll have to use CSS, but I don't have the files here with me, so I dunno in which file you have to change/add it.

Posted on 06-07-05 03:36 PM, in Apple to Use Intel Microprocessors Beginning in 2006 Link
Yeah, for me its also a good thing.
I don't buy a Mac because it has an IBM processor in it, I buy it because of the OS and well, the design .

If moving to Intel means even faster processors, it's only a good thing right?
Also, this sounds VERY good for Mac gaming, maybe we'll eventually have Half-Life and all those other games that didn't make it (although most games today are luckily ported!).

A few interesting things related to Mac gaming and switch to Intel !

Posted on 08-07-05 09:37 PM, in Array in PHP/MySQL Link
Let's say I have this array, which contains id's from a certain table in the DB:
$testarray = array( "5", "28", "62", "39", "55", "72" );

Now what I wanna do is, create a new array, using data from the database where the id's are like in the testarray. So something like this (doesn't work naturally):

$newarray[]=mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query("SELECT fields FROM table WHERE id IN ('$testarray[]')"));

So this query should store all the fields (which have the id's from the testarray) in the newarray, so I could do for example:

print "$newarray[1]";

(this array element should be the info which has id 28 in that specific table)

Dunno if this is clear, but in any case, what is the right query to do this (the one in bold)?

I dropped the 'IN' argument, it wouldn't really have worked with the array anyway.

I fixed it on some other way using a loop .

$game=mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query("SELECT scards FROM games WHERE id=4"));
$sc=unserialize($game[scards]);

$imgsc = array( "0", "0", "0", "0", "0", "0" );
$i=0;
while ($i < 6) {
$cimg=mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query("SELECT url FROM cards WHERE id = $sc[$i]"));
$imgsc[$i] = $cimg[url];
$i++;
}

Hmm I remember some people had problems with the base url, which they fixed by entering the base url directly in the database (PhpMyAdmin).
Dunno if it's the same problem, sorry .

Another text-based game: Star Wars Bounty Hunter Guild.
You can build an army, battle, explore etc. Still beta, so not 100% finished I guess.

Posted on 09-18-05 12:21 AM, in Flash live update. Link
I'm a bit fooling around with Flash & PHP/MySQL.
So far I succeeded to connect to the DB and display data in the flash movie using php files, I also succeeded in using a flash form to send data to the MySQL DB with a php file.

Now what I want, when I send a new entry to the DB with the form, is that the new data is immediatly being shown, without having to reload the flash file. A bit like a chatroom thingy.

So the flash file should actually refresh (?) itself all the time or something?
Any way to do this, what lines should I add in Actionscript or in the php file?

Edit: nevermind, it seems I'll have to use something else as PHP to do this, Java.
