| Nice addition! Very good. ----- Ash, Brock and Misty had caught up to Deoxys, which had stopped at a crater. "You have no idea where you are, do you?" Deoxys said calmly. "That thing can talk?!?" Misty screeched in suprise. "Oh, yes. I can talk very well. I am very proficient. But that is not why I am here. There is another Deoxys. A good Deoxys. Destroy him for me...and I will let the Pokemon Professor Oak live, and he shall be returned to safety." "And how are we supposed to know you aren't lying?" Brock countered. "That is easy...if I was lying, I would've destroyed you right now for saying that!" Brock whispered to Ash and Misty, "Don't do it. We need to preserve any resistance we have against it. A good Deoxys is obviously considered 'resistance.' If there's nobody to stand against it, this Deoxys will have a clear field for world domination, and possibly worldwide destruction!" Ash could not believe what he was hearing. But, just then, Schwa, riding on Spirit was in the area. Misty whispered to Ash and Brock, "There's a trainer riding on a bird Pokemon above us. Don't let Deoxys know!!" But Schwa didn't have time to land. Deoxys switched to Offense mode and whipped out a tentacle, smashing it into Spirit. Spirit fainted. Schwa called on Fearow, which swung by. He grabbed a clawed foot, and then recalled Spirit. But the weight was too much. The trio fell to the ground, at the mercy of Deoxys. But then, the good Deoxys arrived. He switched to offense mode. It was a Deoxys showdown! Suddenly, May came tumbling through the woods... |

| ----- "W-Where are we?" Bob asks, realizing he was in a different area. He was in a ship. There was no response. He ran to the bridge. As he passed doors, he could hear bits of conversation... "Thrusters...full throttle..." "What was that flash, though?" "This is Mininic." "What happened...him?" "He...Crunchora...fell...hit...impact...badly damaged..." Bob stopped, and remembered what had happened. He ran to the voices. He then knocked. "Come in." He walked in. Needless to say, Mininic was inside, lying on a bed. He was badly damaged. He was slightly rusted, and there were burn marks all over him. "That flash phenomenon nearly destroyed him, whatever it was." Shadsonowic was saying. "Hmm...We'd better launch a computer scan-" But she was interrupted. Shadsonowic had just leapt to his feet, and said, in a malevolent voice, "Hmm...you poor excuse for a technician! You failed to notice the new virus that's controlling this puny body right now! Prepare to be destroyed-" But he said no more. Bob, realizing that he was now an enemy, had slashed him with his recently-acquired lightsaber. Shadsonowic fell to the floor, damaged, but immobilized. He was functional. Just immobilized... |

| no, that'd be piracy, BUT...thanks for the advice on Emerald. but as soon as I get Paint, I'll post the speed Deoxys sprite (really it's not a real sprite, but it's modified...I'm gonna modify a screenshot of it that looked like it was printed out on pants and then photographed...) and I'll experiment to see if I can get all of the Deoxys modes into one game- if it doesn't work, you'll know that making the ??'s different would be catastrophic!! I'll also be makin' some new sprites! Yaaaaaaay! I may be gettin' it back soon, it depends.......... | |||

| actually, the game uses codes (ASM?) to make it so you can only find wild pokemon in certain tiles- short grass = no wild pkmn. tall grass = yes wild pkmn. water = yes wild pkmn. (yeesh) | |||

| uuuuuuuuuum...well...if it is possible to create new music in the rom by using a music import/export utility to put the music in free space...[/hint, hint] then you'll want a drop-down that uses an INI, so you can put in the offset for the new music. boo-yah! |

| hmm. ah. however, if you either changed it to a tile(s) that don't have wild pkmn normally appear on them (such as small grass, etc.), you wouldn't have to remove the ol' man. then if you tried the cheat it wouldn't work because of the fact that you can't find wild pkmn on that terrain. look; place grass, game programs wild pkmn to appear there. there's wild pkmn data on every tile...however, they slipped and forgot the data on those specific tiles. so, normally, there's no pkmn, unless you do the code. well, the data on a tile/the absence of data on a tile is not enabled unless the tile is a tile that normally has grass. so if you changed tall grass to short grass wild pokemon would not appear anymore. get what i'm sayin' now? |

| k, thanks, hope it's released soon EDIT: I put a script using the special command 143 into a person (referred them to 800000, the script) in Ruby, script had no effect. Put it in a trap, walked on it, character was unable to move. Script: "#org 0x800000 faceplayer 'checkflag 0xFFFF 'compare $800D, 1 'if 1 0x800400 wildbattle 0x25 0x25 special 0x143 break '#org 0x800400 '= You have already fought\nme. HP: 255 Mass: Low Mass Type: Metal Color: Blue Species: Kirby Attacks: Copy (also considered Mimic) Metal Rock Kirby Metal Final Cutter Metal Punch Metal Slam Throw Metal Fists of Fury Metal Warpstar Metal Star Rod Now... MetalBlueKirby sneaks over and attacks APH. He sucks him up and copies...to become...Spark Kirby! He uses his new electrical forcefield on Schwa! (Schwa, how much damage did I do to you?) He then uses Metal Final Cutter on APH! But did it hit or miss? As the smoke clears, MetalBlueKirby finds that instead of hitting APH, he hit...a tourist. "The service here stinks! No pool, I'm itchy, rental cars suck..." MetalBlueKirby runs away so he isn't sued. | MetalBlueKirby HP: 255 Classification: Puffball Mass: Small Weight: Medium, 30 pounds Height: 8 in. Attacks: Copy MBK can inhale an enemy into his mouth, copying said enemy's abilities and (possibly) doing damage. This is also how MBK eats. Metal Final Cutter MBK pulls out a small sword of energy. He jumps up, slashing enemies in his path. He flips in air. He falls, slashing enemies in his path. Then he falls, slashin' enemies in his path again. He lands, and the energy goes flying in the direction he's facin', slashin' enemies in it's path until it disappears. Metal Rock Kirby MBK turns to Metal Rock Kirby, a metallic Rock Kirby, and crashes down on enemies, hurting them MBK gets damaged if it lands in a pit like this. Metal Punch MBK punches enemies repeatedly, hurting them. Metal Slah Throw MBK grabs an enemy, jumps with the enemy, smashes the enemy on the ground, lets go just before the impact, and the enemy goes flying! Those are the (main) attacks of MBK. Weakness: MBK is a puffball, like Kirby. Thus, very strong attacks can send it- oops! I've said too much! |

| perhaps...hmm...no...but if other programs had this error...maybe it's that... what version are ya hackin', Smeg? oh, Ruby? sry, forgot. anyway, it may be the version. either that or the rom was glitched by something that happened when hacking with other tools. beware of rs ball. it won't tell you if the graphic you're trying to save is too big and if it is then you'll save over important game data because rs ball doesn't edit it to shrink it, no, not even a warning. someone's got to fix that. |

| cool. pics like that could be put to good use in rom hacking and especially pokemon hacking. if ya like you could make that into a little pokemon by replacing a ??. soon when i get paint i'll be able to experiment on if it's possible to make them different without litching other areas of the rom...i'll be also testin' with gshark codes and ar codes...well, vba don' support ar, but some ar and gsa codes work on both devices...hmm... | |||
