Those are very good, Baro...but it looks like the Gym Leader's jetpack is failing, with the smoke...then again, if there was something to indicate it was moving...perhaps a VERY good effect to make it look like he's moving, or a flame in the jet...
No offense, but Mindum looks like Tryogue, Chansey and Meditite combined. Cool idea, but...
Spig's a very clever one, very unique fake...Your sprite and Armored Mewtwo are mega good...but if ya wanna make Armored Mewtwo look like he does in the first Mewtwo Movie, you need gray and gray (and black for the glass, eye-piece of the helmet), not gold...but that's only if the first mewtwo movie's Armroed Mewtwo is what you're tryin' to make...
I've got a clever one myself, but it doesn't have a suitable-enough palette yet...need a darker gray, Steelix' is too bright... And Shiny Pikajet just looks like a golden statue of Pikachu holding a jetpack and with Ditto's mouth...without a pedestal...but if I discover a way to get a better palette...or better yet, make one!...or BETTER YET: CREATE Pokemon Data and make 26 Missingno.s, #000 (dangerous!!), 252-276, AND 440 (No. 999, if possible...)!!!
If I get the newest version of Rubikon, I can make battles with a fake Pokemon I put in my hack of Sapphire, Black, that I decided to put instead of Pikajet, for I am a fan of this "fake Pokemon..." In fact, if he has a moveset, you'll find he's very unique...KIRBY! Of course, only the K in his name could fit... So...K!
Then, you'll see his sprite. Of course, since there is no known image to reference part of an image to free space and the other part to the original area, he's not all that impressive...What? His base is 255! All that is is Black, White and Transparent, and it's a simple ??! However, it's the best I could import...If I had my way, I'd do Kirby with 256 colors in his palette, and make him 3D!!!
But, I haven't had my way...
But anyway, I'm good at sprites, I'm skilled with Microsoft Paint and (suprise, suprise), TileMolester (but if it edits anything else other than compressed graphics- whammo! Kiss your hack goodbye!). Go ahead. Request me to make a sprite. I'll make it. In fact, if you like, you can also ask me to use a specific base!!! Bring on the challenge! I can do it! Of course, if ya wanna, Kawa, you're free to put any of my sprites in the library...

I don't think Linking works on any ROM, hacked or unhacked. The reason is so: it was programmed to use a special hardware that has special software. This software uses the hardware to tell the game it's ready for the transfer. This software and hardware also works with Sapphire/Ruby/FR/LG, as they check for both the hardware and the software (I think). If it's not found, the link attempt is canceled. If it's found, it waits for a signal of some sort that the transfer is ready. Then the data transfer begins. The transfer must continue until the link is over. The game checks for the hardware/software constantly until the link sequence is over. also, the hardware and/or software check for a valid game on the other end.
E.x.
GBA - - - - - - Cable============================Cable---Gba2
GBA sends a signal to Cable to check for a valid game at Gba2.
Gba2 mirrors.
Cable checks.
It gets signal.
Both games are notified.
Transfer begins.
Now, the only way for this to be possibly is to make some currently-impossible VBA-compatible software that links up two seperate VBA windows using seperate SGMs and/or seperate ROMS.
This is not possible. Thus, linking is not possible. Realize that I could be wrong- this is just a theory. A very likely one.
However, you can "trick" the player:
Make it seem like it's linking up.
Let's say ya wanna trade.
It picks a trainer at random to send the data that's required over.
There should be several trainers. They each should have different data.
The trainer is picked at random.
So you'd encounter trainers with different teams and record corner data every time until you've encountered all of them.
This would require probably heavy ASM to recreate most of it.
But, if you have the code for all the link features, just modify it and do the nessecary changes from there. Before you try this, however, you may want to try to implement link-up features to link up with a seperate ROM instead of a randomly picked trainer with random data inside the game. That's not linking up.
Asmuch as it can seem so.
Oh, and you wanna base for day/night code? MetalBlueKirby's most recent posts, EliteMap FAQ, Page 7, one has the base code.

I can see why people hack FR/LG! The graphics are even better than Sapphire! Holy ----! If only I had working FR and/or LG ROMS...preferrably non-homebrew and short to download if possible...

Unfortunately I don't know how to add time support for the code, or how to put it in the map script...maybe if the game sets a flag depending on whether it's AM or PM using Rubikon code or even ASM code, and we can use checkflag to check that flag...

Holy ----! I didn't think porting a ROM Hack from CPU to GBA is legal! As it is, I don't even have flash hardware. I get my ROMS at sites. I'd get Ruby, but someone's site (forget Acmlm name, sorry) (at my thread that was closed (GDI, I didn't respond in time to remove the--)) is blocked by AOL Parental Controls, I need AIM for Interdpth to send it to me (I use IM), and the APCC isn't working...

Paint comes with Windows.
Also...if you make the ?s different, they cause the game to freeze when caught. Leave them the same and they'll be safe to catch and own...their Pokedex will look like crap and won't show up in the Dex menu because they have no real dex data. It's just a mispointed value or something.
Probably like in Animal Crossing;
put in certain codes (Say Code to Tom Nook) and a glitch name appears. I have proof that the glitch name is like the programming exposed (as if it's pointed to certain programming):
one name"" + symbols + "Say Code"
Looks like this:
"h8354sHFSJH/-9Say Code"
except there are little "icons" as well...
EDIT: I don't mean you can't change them, I mean that if they're different as in if they have different pics, etc....

The error could very likely be this:
You dumped the pic and opened it with TileMolester (TM can only edit DMPs, otherwise screws up ROM).
You made your changes.
you Inserted the Dump in Pokepic.
It said the graphic was too big.
You inserted anyway, right?
If so, you probably wrote over important game data.
Your ROM is dead, so unless you made backups, it's deletion time, and then you're gonna have to copy the unhacked ROM back to that dir, and then redo all your work- minus the title screen, of course.

How the ---- do you edit palettes? I used the SNES program like someone said (they said that SNES and GBA store palettes the same way) and it didn't work!

EDIT: How would you be able to eat anyone here? Like you know where we live!

Obsidian works, but it's a bit outdated. Of course, it's only a beta/demo...
Errors:
Scripted for male character, thus playing as May will freeze game
Oak has no speech yet
Oldale looks like crap
Trainers on Route 101 are too high-leveled. Expect your Pokemon to be KO'd (killed, fainted, KO'd, whatever!) in one hit.
Winstrate Goldor is Knight Golor: Overworld is a running girl! Battle is steven.
Compression artifacts. (they shoulda used Pokepic)
Etc.
However, THAT IPS is outdated and only a beta/demo. The finished hack is bound to be impossibly good!
I have some suggestions...
And great discovery, Kawa, I'll have to try it out. I wonder if it's possible to use Rubikon to make it so that if you open the Pokemon menu and have no Pokemon, instead of showing ??????????'s, it'll create a Pokemon automatically, and that Pokemon won't just be a "temp" that's erased when you get a real one! If so, it's likely SOMEONE working on EliteMap'll find it.

No offense, but
A: It's best to use in-game palettes.
B: It looks a little too basic for GBA.
I've made some basic Silver ports, puttin 'em on that image site righ' now...
CooltrainerFemale, which uses, obviously, the CooltrainerF's palette!

CooltrainerMale, which uses CooltrainerM's Palette:

SchoolBoy, which uses, you guessed it (I think), the SchoolBoy Palette!

Also, the Male Camper Port, which uses CamperM's palette!

AND, The Hiro's Back Port, using Brendan Back Palette!

And last, but not least, the Pokemaniac Port, which uses the Pokemaniac (that kid in the Charmeleon feet) Palette!

Like 'em?
I'm gonna use them in a Silver/Ruby Hybrid, and in a Sapphire/Silver Hybrid (well not all of 'em, in the case of Sapphire- import bitmaps to any pic below 0, -14 being Brendan, and at least one gets screwed up, usually the Rich Boy...
Darn it!
But none of Ruby's sprites are below 0, so no prob with Ruby.

Like I said, you can use them in your hacks, but please give credit to the original creator (me).
And Kawa, you may use these in the Library.

Where can I get Solaris, and I just remembered, I got Sapphire (and my new Ruby ROM) at the APCC

The server can be REEEEEEAAL unreliable...
When I was gettin Ruby, half the time the server reset, but luckily it only took like 15 min. (funny, it took 2 hrs. to get Sapphire, and it never did that!)
And half the time you may not even be able to view the page correctly! Worth a try, though.
They have Red, Blue, Yellow, (poorly) Translated (- the dex data and names) Green, FR, LG(WB), G, Si, C, R, S, etc. But only PKMN.
R/B/Y/G/Go/Si/Ru (sometimes)/Sa (sometimes) take a short time to download. The ROMS are zipped.
The site has no hacks.

The map script:
thingy. contains code for map. code is thing that causes stuff. if you can put stuff in code, things can happen in map.
the script i used:
used to re-create, or replicate, or...well, you should know what that means-- the day/night thing in G/S/C (it gets dark at night).
i dunno how to add de time support or how to shove it into de map script.

The map script is a code that causes things to happen in the map, such as in Petalburg City, the little kid who forces you to go into the gym, the map script probably moves him to the right spot if the wallycatch sequence hasn't been triggered and completed.
the script I made is a script to replicate the day/night effects in Gold, Silver and Crystal. However, it needs some modifications, and I don't know how to add day/night support. If Nintendo made the game set a rubikon flag when it turns to AM/PM, and someone discovers the flag, then it would be a revolution; we could replicate those effects, make day/night-only effects, and perhaps even make a script to change the wild pkmn in the area! of course, that would be once EliteMap gets a feature to edit the map's script...also, I wonder why ScriptEd can't show it in Rubikon code, showing unsupported commands as raw, or somethin'?

I didn't make the palettes. They're palettes from the game.
So if you edit with RS Ball you can edit the Palette pointers for the Normal PKMN Fronts and Backs, and the Trainer Fronts and Backs.
Logically, if Ruby has the same trainers as Sapphire (just different offsets and pointers), those palettes would be somewhere in the game. Someone should know where they are or how to find them...[/hint, hint] But not me.
I know you have GameMaker...but WHAT IS IT? And what does it DO?
