| ah. you see, in G/S they had a failsafe; if you had no pokemon and got in a battle, the screen went white before the battle screen came up and then you returned to the overworld and automatically win the battle. what a wonderful way to beat the elite four! but they left out that failsafe in R/S. you'd probably need to ASM hack to input it. or just modify all trainers. but, to add this failsafe to wild battles, you would need ASM. either way, ASM. and there is no missingno trick in fr/lg, i seen shots of cinnibar, it's one map. the shore isn't in the other map, meaning the glitch is not possible. see majinbluedragon's explanation of the missingno glitch in the pokemon hacking forum for more details as to why. |
