Phish - Farmhouse

Wow this is really great. Phish is not only quality rock, but a lot of their songs have really good background beats which are catchy. After a few verses a small block of lyrics repeats and this is the part where you may want to stop and really listen up. Like a lot of their's, this one is likely drug-induced, hence the trivial concept in the lyrics. "Cluster flies"

Its very cold here in Ottawa, -18 Celcius yesterday. I wanted to go outside but it was freezing. Then I missed the bus to school and had to walk down to the main streets and wait another 20 minutes. I hate it when you just can see the bus and you hear that engine pshh. And then it drives away.

Shows up fine to me... but maybe its because its geocities and you have to change the extention to .txt, I don't know why people use it, actually.

Yeah, this method is pretty crude, you may be able to find a better one. This is all I can come up with though. Also, I hope the cells have a background color and not a background image, because that would complicate this method.

Ok, so first, I'll show you my example using some nice dinosaurs Take a look at this lovely guy:

Now, I cut him and his colorful friends, 50 pixels from the right in each of these cells.

Hopefully you have a background color for your table and not an image. I chose black. Then, decide how much you want cut off from the right side of the image. You want 50 pixels. So, make an image 50 pixels wide, and whatever height you want, 1 pixel maybe.
Ok so in your cell you have your image that you want to display (in this case the dino). After inserting your dino, insert your 50 pixel wide image. Use this style:

img {margin-left: -50; height: 100%}

What this will do is overlap your image 50 pixels with the negative margin. Also, it will fill the cell height-wise with the height: 100%.

Also keep in mind that images immediately after one another should be immediately after one another in the html, as well. Like:

<img src=dino.gif><img src=black-cut-off.gif>
^ That will work.

<img src=dino.gif>
<img src=black-cut-off.gif>

^ That will not work at all with what we are trying to do!

Quote me to see the source of that table.

Whew.

<hr> does act like <br>,
See?

Edit: Ooooooooh your talking about a post layout blockquote with hrs. Mine does that
As you can see from my awesome example,
I don't have hrs, even though they are present in the html.

To do this use display: none, but also use display: block in the element before it.
display: block makes the element act like a block-level element, like a div or blockquote. block level elements have a break after and before them. Observe.

This is a span. I made it bold. Spans are not block levels. Text can go after it.

Here's that example again, with an hr seperating them
Text can go after it on the next line.

Here's that example again, with the hr present in the html, but with a display: none.
The text still appears on the next line because the span is acting as block-level element with display: block.

My css for my post-layout demonstrates all this.

Actually, it didn't work.

See what you did is you have:

blockquote {display: block}

That doesn't do anything. Blockquotes are already block level elements, they have a line break before and after them. What you want to be block level is the font tag.
<font class=fonts><i>Originally posted by ...</i></font>
That one.

So your css snippet should look like this:
.hh_post blockquote .fonts {display: block}
.hh_post blockquote hr {display: none}

Also you had

.hh_post hr {display: none}

That will work, but what happens when you want to have an <hr> not in the blockquote? It will also not display. So make it more specific with

.hh_post blockquote hr {display: none}

The only drugs (excluding things like caffiene and alcohol) that I consider ok is weed and shrooms, which I've both tried, moreso with weed. Shrooms are amazing, but the next day you feel gross and you don't want to do them again for a a long time. So, its hard to get hooked, so its hard to do it enough to effect your brain, unless its long-term use. Also, weed is alright, since it isn't all that harmful, and most people don't get hooked. Its all natural, too.

Also all those herbal shamanistic drugs should stay legal too, because I think they're mainly for religious use, so whos gonna be bothered abusing those?

Edit: Generation Terrorist, I read in your newbie intro you do dxm. It's over the counter in Canada (and I think most places) but I'm not getting messed up with that shit, A guy at my high school had a nice time in ER with that.

I cheat in GTA. Its great to fly around in a jetpack and shoot people with a rocket launcher. Cheating is a part of what makes the game fun, the missions can get dull.

But other than that, with games that I am playing, I only cheat after I beat the game. But thats because I like to find out what happens how its supposed to. Arcade-style games with no real plot, cheat away.

Also, Kyouji, what is an AR?

Ok Quasitrium, well, it seems like your really motivated with all these projects of yours, but maybe try making a "new reply" in an existing thread, instead of a making a new thread each time you have a comment. That way, you'll earn respect among the skilled hackers here and be able to gain genuine assistance.

Good Luck.

Hi Commando 125!

You seem like a good one, and you've already made a few posts, but just in case you get confused by the board layout (it can be tricky at times), or have a board-related question, check out the FAQ for probably most of your answering needs. Unfortunately, it doesn't explain why the melon bug is called a hedgehog, though.
