I have a Sharp GX10i which looks a little like Anya's phone only has a built in Camera and the ability to play Java gomes on it, I've got loads, including Prince of Persia and Tetris and even a Dancing game! I can also post using my phone but it's a nightmare to navigate.

I've got a MP3/CD player (Acmlmers with long memories may remember I asked about them, well I bought one and it works out great!). I'm thinking of upgrading to a Mp3 Jukebox soon. The Ipod seems very expensive, I think you pay for the name more than anything else. I'll probably get a Rio Karma, as I like the look of it and it can play OGG files, which is what I get from some Torrents.

Firstly Calm down. No seriously, I mean it, calm down, breathe deeply, hit a wall but you need to take some time out and remain calm. You seem to be getting very paranoid and upset, and this MAY be due tp your past, it's true but you can't change that, you CAN change your present, and shape your future, so concentrate on that. There are a LOT of people in your situation, including me. I think we all feel lonely at times, and also, I was at one time REALLY concerned with how people viewed me, I rated my life on how popular I was, both online and off. Part of me even enjoyed being a Mod because it gave me extra popularity. What I didn't realise that it was because of my nature and NOT my status. There are a few facts you need to take into account... 1. We live in unsafe and paranoid times. People are being blown to buggery for mistakes their governent are making, other people are being attacked, mugged, shot, raped, murdered and mutilated in the street for daring to buy some groceries or something. We live in a world where the very fact we're alive seems like a miracle and the only people we can TRULY trust is ourselves. 2. We live in a world where emotions are frowned upon. Displays of affection are banned from school, sex is taboo and we're scared of speaking our mind lest we get sued for it 3. We live in a world where we treat each other like crap, and we hide things from each other. We keep secrets and lies. These girls that don;t take any notice of you, these friends that seem to vanish into thin air? they're looking out for themselves. There's nothing wrong with that, after all if you don't have the capability to love yourself then how can you love another? The world doesn;t revolve around yu. They have their own hopes, dreams, and fears and I'd wager none of them involve you. At all. They're too worried about their OWN lives than yours. As for how to approach them, well stop looking at it as if it's a competiton or an attck on them, it's not. If they seem not interested, just move on, chalk it up to experience, mentally say "It's THEIR loss".. Chances are you'll eventually find someone who's interested in having you as a friend. Just Do what I said at the very beginning of this thread. Calm Down. |

My Ex fiancee had braces, she still looked beautiful though. She never let me kiss her until she had them removed. A good thing that happened before we met for the first time now she has a lovely smile so I suppose it's worth it. .

Right I think the best way to ask is to break down my problems..... 1. My Dad has a VERY bad habit of going on pages he really shouldn't (and it's gross to think about that, I'll leave you to fill in the gap), and so the comp is constantly infected by Trojan Horses, Downloaders and god knows what. Up until now, My Virus checker has been on the ball and scanned and deleted them all. 2. I've got a Prog called "Ad aware" which deals with the spyware and gets rid of them 3. Both those programs served me and served me well, but little by little, IE has been corrupted firstly by this annoying habit of redirecting all URLS I type in to this page that's no longer open (say I type in "www.yahoo.co.uk" IE will go to "http://ccttp://www.yahoo.co.uk" which doesn't exist. Then came what I assumed was a virus, every time I'd close IE, a dozen copies of IE would open. Now my Pop Up stopper would solve this up to a point and then it would just crash, so I'd have to close IE via the task manager. 4. My answer was to try and uninstall IE, but even though I seemed to have done so using the "Remove Windows Components" it's still seemingly there. You see I installed Modzilla (and Netscape as backup), but now sometimes these IE boxes appear from nowhere, as well as this program I don't recognise (and according to Ad aware my Comp is clean) 5. Adding to these problems somettimes my comp will crash when I shut down, it freezes on the "Now saving your settings" screen, and so the only way to shut the comp off is to hit the power switch on the wall. As you can see I'm in DEEP trouble, Please help me! |

Reinstalling Windows? Not an option, the recovery disk has gone AWOL and the only copy we have is a warez one I obtained from a friend. What I did was installed Spybot and gave it a try, it picked up on a couple of things Ad Aware missed for some reason and it looks like the problems have subsided... for now. Thanks for the help.
